Party Discipline:
Suppose an attorney were representing a governmental entity in a personal injury, damages, or condemnation lawsuit. Say he let his opponent know he had some smoking information that could be passed on, or pursued, or not -- at discretion. The opponent hints it could be worthwhile to take a dive. Maybe even a Rezko-like back door real estate deal. Well, there tend to be other eyes, so I doubt that kind of thing is all that common in most venues.
In Obama's case, however, how many watchdog eyes from Congress are checking on him? How many ways does he have to "make offers that can't be refused" (knowwhutimean)? How many Chicago teachers does he have, to show him how it's done? How many "principled" believers in representative governance has he appointed to help him -- versus unchecked elitist collectivists, crisis opportunists, and ends-rationalizing comrades? It's all for the movement, comrade (and those who run it).
BTW -- Why do Dems now have so much party discipline? Does it have anything to do with the fact that they have gone so far left as to be indistinguishable from communist party members and activists? After all, who has more party "discipline" (and less respect for representing the interests of the middle class) than true-believing commies?

It may not be important to Obama whether he remains the face of big government, so long as individual freedom of expression and enterprise are safely locked away. Obama does not care whether Big Sharia, Big Communism, or Big Elite Oligopolists put down the American middle class, so long as it is put down. Once the American middle class is politically neutered, "science" will resolve the remaining differences between BS, BC, and BO.
BHO and everyone he has appointed and surrounded himself with is a menace and a a disgrace to human decency. He has his collectivist, communal faith, and he does not care in the least whether Americans are in favor of his program. If they are not, he will simply keep the borders open and keep inviting miscreants until he gets an "electorate" that is consistent with his mission.
Read "Witness," by Whitaker Chambers. The more things "change," the more they are consistent with the early 2oth century. Obama and Hillary, whether they know it or not, want goals that are consistent with nothing less than "making the world safe" for ending individual freedom of mind. A dangerous meme or system of mind parasitism in their upbringing, peers, experiences, and Ivy educations turned them into moral despots, so that down is up and slavery is freedom. They are beyond picayune politics. They want nothing less than fundamental change, i.e., a collectivist collar on everyone.
Big Gov now operates like a company store (or a sheriff’s commissary?). In “Sixteen Tons,” Mr. Ford explained how mine workers came to owe their souls to the company store. Now, corporate advertisers have also enhanced skills to coax consumers to buy enough products to become good debt slaves to bankers.
Now, Big Gov wants to horn in on the action of bankers and corporatists. Once Gov horns in to control and tax trade for every material thing and every service of health, education, and welfare, the governed will have no choice but to work for Gov, buy its products, and become its debt slaves. Big Gov is ravishing and collectivizing all company stores.
A wolf party of Dino and Rino collectivizers has fenced in Americans, so that we can be fleeced, milked, and gutted -- as needed. Big Education has become means by which Gov runs its company store. Except for superficialities, few competing stores are allowed. The great, “scientifically moral triumph” of those who would be our governors is to reduce humanity to collectivized sheep. In so doing, they also diminish their own humanity.
Our elite schools have been taken over as hotbeds for recruiting collectivizers. It is no wonder they do not want military people on campus who believe in Representative Republicanism. Nor do they want Christians or commonly decent persons. They want pups imbued with the mission of international collectivization. These pups are to be vetted, placed, and promoted to positions of control -- regardless of scientific or moral merit. These pups are now grown to czars. Once placed, they find and promote only among themselves.
So, what political engine can run a decent, sustainable, defensible society that is not based on duping gullibles and shearing sheep? What system of decent checks on free enterprise can free the initiative of Americans, without reducing us to be serfs to an international elitist oligarchy that comes to own our government, corporations, media, schools, and Ivy hotbeds for rearing replacement wolf pups?
