DERELICTION: Consider how Democrats, invariably, seek out to register and get to polls, whether legally or not, the most irresponsible derelicts of society, meaning illegal aliens, felons, addicts, layabouts, gimme-entitlers, tag defilers, anti-establishment trolls, and professional beggars and panderers.
PRIORITIES: Americans’ priorities are not: Exporting democracy, promoting world government, promoting unrestricted negotiations with fascist dictators, reducing labor to servility, making reparations to every imaginable minority group that may have been victimized by persons other than ourselves, indulging earmarks for insiders, redefining marriage, promoting gay parades, promoting gayness of military, justifying adultery, promoting homosexuality, or accepting polygamy, bestiality, or child sex.
ASK: Why do Democrats consider derelicts to be their natural constituency; how do Democrats get derelicts to the polls; do derelicts really expect political relief as a result of their voting, or do they often get their quid or fix before they vote; do Democrat politicians, after paying to obtain such votes, really expect to service the derelict constituency; and, if so, why do they imagine that as a good thing?
ASK: On the other hand, why do Republicans sell out their country in order to reward monopolists, moneyed-thumbs, debt-enslavers, greed bags, polluters, and disloyal globalists?
ASK: In respect of that which Democrats and Republicans really expect to accomplish (fleecing responsible society?), have they not united?
EMERGING PATTERN: Do not those who run both parties want broken borders, cheap votes, servile labor, automaton (well regulated) workers, useful idiots, earmark artists, and extra-territorial empire? Does not the media, being beholden to both, assault us with blatant lies and “progressive biases” for favoring atheistic analysts, anti-Americans, and anti-Christian religious fanatics?
INCORRIGIBILITY: Consider how many of Congress are loathed because of incorrigible unwillingness to accomplish even the most basic, simple things that responsible folks expect.
SIMPLE: After all, to preserve the American way, Americans really only need a few basic things from The Feds:
1) Don’t preclude us from defending our country and borders;
2) Don’t make America utterly dependent on foreign sources of energy or enrich our enemies;
3) Don’t screw up our economy, facilitate monopolies, or reduce the relative independence of ordinary Americans in respect of self reliance, freedom, dignity, and resourcefulness;
4) Don’t fail to ensure basic infrastructure (roads and utilities); and
5) Don’t needlessly preclude evolution of a civilized safety net for those less smiled on by fortune.
EXTREME MODERATES: On behalf of Red Ass Moderates, I do not want to make common cause or be part of a rainbow coalition with Democrat Derelicts or Republican Raiders. I do not want to be part of a party that panders to either. Rather, I want them to make common cause with me --- with enlightened, energized moderation.
HEALTH AND WELFARE: In enlightened moderation, a civilized net, eventually, should provide: a decent floor for universal health care; forced treatment to “dry out” addicts found publicly intoxicated by alcohol or drugs; and civilian conservation corps projects and jobs in exchange for government educational assistance.
LESS GOVERNMENT: Otherwise, government, by and large, should remain small.
TREASON: However, Congress has not only failed to defend our borders, independence, and American dignity. Congress has actually undermined our borders, independence, and dignity. For that, Congress, for many years, has perpetuated treason. That anyone should assert that opening wide our borders, enriching our enemies, and undermining our self reliance is not treason is laughably, audaciously Orwellian.
GIRLY MEN: The generation of girls and girly men that made Michael Jackson king of pop seems poised to make Barack Obama king of politics. However, enlightened empathy should wake us to propensities that are in everyone, both for evil as well as for good.
CAN DO: But for continuing treasons of Congress, abetted by greed, bias, and “useful idiocy” of mainstream media and Marxist academia, Americans are certainly capable of achieving their basic interests.
SO: For how much longer shall we travel blind and suffer fools? The things that 80% or so of Americans want done are not done because our Representatives do not want them done. They only want us to think they want them done. Meantime, they hope to control Gulliver with shenanigans and strings. With what may they pay, as Gulliver awakes and senses the betrayal?
POPULATION: Were America to exemplify basics, may concerns otherwise beyond direct human management become more endurable? For example, the most obvious human contribution to an excess of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere (“global warming”) is an excess of human population. JUST SAY NO: Suppose (Imagine) everyone were to “just say no” to denying capacities to receive enlightenment; suppose statesmen, educators, philosophers, and scientists were to just say no to “no God;” suppose enlightened Muslims were to just say no to “Sharia law;” and suppose enlightened Catholics were to just say no to “no birth control”? Could we not then more realistically “progress”? Imagine more philosophies were influenced by a form of progressive realism (or “Preolism”): then, to what higher arts and purposes may humanity aspire?

RESISTING EVIL: To will to live as though Being’ness (or “God”) were only an unambiguously, unenlightened monstrosity is to reduce all you stand for only to monstrosity. It is to fulfill only evil, borne of false, unenlightened sense of self and Being’ness. Instead, pause and listen more to what Being’ness says to your intuition; be less ruled by other mortals’ interpretations.
To emerge from a void, evil needs nothing more than absence of Good Will. But, evil’s weakness is that there has never been, and never will be, a complete void of Good Will.
Jews, Christians, and Muslims need to decide whether to believe God is monstrosity, lipstick, or Enlightened, Ambiguous Will (i.e., Elohim).
For one who is weak in flesh to worship God as monster is to rationalize oneself as worthy evangelist, whose ire, once empowered, must not, without monstrous consequences, be challenged. Earth, perhaps as much as many planets, supports various carbon based forms of life that depend for their sustenance upon the consumption of other such forms. Absent civilization, life among such forms tends to be “poor, nasty, brutish, and short.”
Absent checks and balances, civilization tends to be un-free and un-dignified. When a country is experienced to have evolved in civilized checks and balances to such a point as to support one’s freedom and dignity, one should appreciate and wish to defend such country --- not to reduce it to the lot of the rest of Earth.
To be “patriotic” towards Earth, without being willing to risk one’s own life or comfort to defend or expand one’s source of freedom and dignity, is to “aspire” to devolution of oneself and one’s countrymen.
Those Leftists who denigrate America and extol the rest of the world should be invited to say in what ways they consider themselves “patriotic.” They may be naïve, inexperienced, ignorant, or without insight, but (I believe), if they are unwilling to defend America, they are “patriotic” only in Orwellian sense. They should be told so, and why --- without apology.
However, America’s leftist denigrators are not our only dis-loyalists. We have plenty of dis-loyalists among “blueblood,” globalist Republicans, who are also bent on selling their country out, not for naïve “Earth-love” reasons, but for the cheapest of “market-based” reasons. They also should be invited to say in what ways they consider themselves “patriotic.” They may aspire to be “objective” in some myopic, market-based sense, but they also are “patriotic” only in Orwellian sense. They should be told so, and why --- without apology.
Whether with leftists or rightists, it is ridiculous to debate with those who are unwilling even to defend or enforce our borders --- without calling them to account. It is ridiculous to expect Patriots to “unite” with dis-loyalists and traitors. Rather, it comes time to call dis-loyalists to account! Call them out; vote them out; run them out --- with pitchforks and fire hoses!

INFORM IDEOLOGY WITH EXPERIENCE: Why do not idealistic Greenies and Marxists who are dissatisfied with the American Ethos emigrate? If perceived unfairness in the worldwide conversion, distribution, and use of resources so offends them, why do they not seek, among fellow travelers, to inform otherwise naive demonstrations and intercourse with actual experience and effort directed to hotspots of unfairness? The hard quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and extraneous.
Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant.
China's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.
The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a war-mongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered it's way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.
And, who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'?
History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our posers of reason we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points:
Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence.

Liberal Web sites that allow feedback from readers are more than 12 times as likely to contain profanity as their conservative counterparts.
That's the finding of Washington Times' "Poli-Tech" columnist Matthew Sheffield, who used a search engine to find profanity on leading sites on both sides of the political spectrum.
Sheffield looked for occurrences of late comic George Carlin's "seven dirty words" and some popular variants on the top 10 conservative and top 10 liberal Web sites.
The search yielded 70,000 results at the conservative sites — and 1.9 million on the liberal sites.
"Dividing the number of instance of profanity by the number of pages of the sites on which they appear, then multiplying the result by 100, yields what might be called a ‘profanity quotient,'" Sheffield writes.
The top 10 left-wing sites have a profanity quotient of 14.6, while the right-wing sites have a quotient of 1.17, which means 14.6 percent of all pages on the liberal sites contain profanity, compared to 1.17 percent of all pages on the conservative sites.
"That's quite a disparity — liberals are more than 12 times as likely to use profanity as conservatives on the Web," Sheffield points out.
In an effort to explain the result, Sheffield adds: "More than likely, it is a reflection of how things are offline. Conservatives, especially those who are more religious, are less likely to use profanity in their daily conversation."

Shortly before World War I another British author, Norman Angell, published a famous book titled “The Great Illusion,” in which he argued that war had become obsolete, that in the modern industrial era even military victors lose far more than they gain. He was right — but wars kept happening anyway.

Some pundits have compared today with 1938. That is a gross disservice to Neville Chamberlain, Stanley Baldwin and other politicians in the democratic West. Chamberlain was willing to do almost anything to prevent the Great War from again murdering a whole generation of young men in the trenches of France. His heart, if not his mind, was working well. Chamberlain ultimately declared war on Hitler and, after Churchill took over in 1940, Chamberlain, who was dying, provided Churchill with indispensable political support in cabinet so that Britain fought on and did not make peace with evil.
Clinton was not fit to shine the shoes of Chamberlain. The American president in 1993, with a partisan majority in Congress and a reservoir of goodwill, needed only to spend the largess of the Reagan peace dividend on completing the liberation of the world. He needed only to use his influence with Democrats to persuade them to support, with automatic Republican support, a structure of national and international pressure on China to embrace freedom. He needed only to ensure that the proven superiority of American arms in Desert Storm be used as a lever for liberty around the world. He needed only to use his gifts of rhetoric to ennoble and advance, before all else, human rights.
Within months after Clinton left office, the dam burst, the war began, and the hope of Reagan turned sour. The bosses of China quietly maneuvered their rising empire into a geopolitical position that supported genocide in distant Darfur because that hurt America. The new Tsar used natural resources and natural envy to brew venom in the Russian mind and to make America again the "main enemy."

Forty years ago, in the third week of August 1968, something horrible happened to the American Left and to its host, the Democratic Party. We have been living with this horror ever since.

Were the operations and tactics employed wise? -- were replaced by fundamental questions about the morality of our nation. Communist dictators like Castro were celebrated. Mega-murderers like Mao were lionized. This was something new and hideous in American political discussion.
Many Americans supported isolationism before the Second World War, but these Americans did not say that our nation was a pox; they did not champion the wicked regimes in Germany, Italy, and Japan; they did not yearn that America become more like the world. Rather, these America Firsters thought that the world should become more like America.
No major political movement that despised America could have survived in America in 1940. Indeed, no major political movement can survive in a democracy which despises its homeland -- except in America. Forty years ago, the Democratic Party became an anomaly in the history of democracies: It assumed a posture of contempt towards the very nation which it sought to govern. Why? The principle reason was that a sated generation deprived of God thrashed about for purpose and, finding none, embraced the nihilism of Marxism and loathed the hopeful life that America had given to so many peoples from so many lands.

The anti-American students at the Chicago Democratic Convention, charter members of the most pampered generation in human history, assumed that goodness was imperfection and that evil was nirvana.

Even when Marx was a circus clown, these orphans of conscience hailed Ho and Mao and Che. And the very week that students fought in the streets for Marx, events on the other side of the world showed how utterly futile trust in Marx would be. The communist incarnation of Marx always had an ugly face. The prettiness of Bolshevism was always over the horizon. In 1968, some communists demanded a happy life now, not in some misty Marxian future paradise. These communists in Czechoslovakia gave their materialist religion a human face. Dissent was allowed by these communist rulers. Czechs acted like free people. Dubcek, General Secretary of the Czechoslovakian Communist Party, did not reject the tenets of Marx; he simply thought that a police state was not essential to Marx. Dubcek was wrong.
Days before students rioted at the Democratic Convention in Chicago (these students who saw no profit in trying to influence the Republican Convention in Miami), tanks from Warsaw Pact "allies" entered Czechoslovakia to re-impose rule, not Marxist rule -- Marxists were governing Czechoslovakia already -- but totalitarian rule. It was now clear, if it ever been unclear, that Marxism could never be anything but brutal oppression. The crushing of the Prague Spring, the brief and fragile flowering of human liberty under Marxism, proved that.
While Marxist armies patrolled the streets of newly occupied Prague, apologists and defenders of Marx in Chicago demanded that their vehicle of political expression, the Democratic Party, abandon resistance to Marxism throughout the world. These protesters won their war long after the convention. Although Hubert Humphrey won the party's nomination, he would be the last Democrat who truly defended America against totalitarian enemies to carry the banner of the party of JFK, Scoop Jackson, or Harry Truman.

McGovern won that 1972 nomination, guided by a medley of groups committed to the practical surrender of American power. Carter, who professed surprise at communist evil when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan, was one of the two Democrats to win the White House since 1968. The other was Clinton, the draft dodger who traveled to Moscow during the Vietnam War. Obama, whose pastor openly damned America, will be the Democrats' nominee this year.
Incredibly, a political party largely reconstructed around the notion that its own nation is evil and its own citizens are dupes or worse, has survived and thrived in America. Its party leaders more or less openly root for the defeat of American soldiers in war. Its party bigwigs hobnob with America-haters like Michael Moore at national conventions. Its party faithful, according to public opinion polls, listen seriously to arguments that the American government planned war upon its own people.
The descent from a reasonable, serious political party into a gaggle of anti-patriots began forty years ago this month, just as the case for winning the Cold War was made most emphatically in the streets of Prague.

The students of Chicago streets are now the old men of the Democrat Party. They blame America, somehow, for Russian tanks in Georgia, just as they blamed America, if they blamed anyone, for Soviet tanks in Czechoslovakia. Frozen in time, immune to reality, they tear and claw at the nation which gave them everything. They lived as they lived in 1968 -- reveling in the bloodying of America, chanting praises of Marxist monsters, pummeling anyone within their party who did not toe the party line.
When people sense the sickness of American politics and government, what they sense is something missing for forty years from our national dialog: Sincere and patriotic partisan debate. There should be two political parties, both committed to the American Dream, both in love with their nation, both proud to defend her. Instead, one party has accepted the lies told about America on the streets of Chicago in 1968. Too rich, too powerful, too confident, too comfortable -- this is what the rioters in Chicago thought of America then; this is what the heart of the Democratic Party thinks now, forty years after their political party died.

For Republicans, changing demographics are worrisome. Minorities and immigrants like the idea of a big and benevolent government handing out benefits — the something-for-nothing boondoggles that the Democrats have reveled in since Franklin Roosevelt invented the concept.
If you give amnesty, which really means citizenship, to just 2 million or 3 million of the 12 million illegals here, the electoral map moves dramatically in favor of the Democratic Party. But there will be no reason why Obama and the Democrats won’t push for amnesty and citizenship for all 12 million.

Today, Texas is an anchor for the GOP nationally. But an Obama amnesty program will put that state solidly into the Democratic column. Florida and other smaller red states like Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico will become quite blue. Blue states, like California and New York, will get bluer.
