The Left has destroyed anti-nuclear proliferation

Nuke proliferation is now out of control, and our Democrats have been the biggest saboteurs in that massive civilizational failure. The second party of sabotage has been Europe, ruled by socialist elites; the third and fourth have been the United Nations and Russia, which is supplying nuclear technology to Iran. Anti-proliferation has been constantly undermined and sabotaged by the domestic and international Left.
As a result, today the Iranian nuke program may well be beyond the point of no return. Even systematic, long-lasting air strikes against its nuclear industry may not be enough to put the genie back in the bottle. That will change our world forever, and not for the better.
How did we get here?
The single most suicidal action by the Left has been its years of assault on President George W. Bush after the overthrow of Saddam.

In the case of Ahmadinejad and Kim Jong Il there's no guessing any more. They have nukes and missiles, or will have within a year.
The entire anti-proliferation effort has therefore been sabotaged and probably ruined by the Left. For what reason? There can be only one rational reason: A lust for power, even at the expense of national and international safety and peace. But the Left has irrational reasons as well, including an unfathomable hatred for adulthood in the face of mortal danger.

Barack Obama represents the revolt against reality in contemporary politics. He is the ultimate fantasy candidate, the Savior who appears from nowhere to rescue the poor and helpless and intellectually impaired among us.

If Obama/Biden win, they may be able to switch back to a sane anti-proliferation policy with some very fast footwork, disappointing their millions of fatuous followers. But Leftists followers are emotional and wishful, as Lenin noted long ago. They will go along if their messianic hero leads the way.
But we have no guarantee of such sanity in an Obama/Biden administration. It is just as likely that they will retreat and rationalize a Brave New World full of nuclear rogues -- Iran, North Korea, and soon many others. They may put their trust in the paper dolls of international agreements and beefed-up UN agencies.
In such a world, anti-missile defense will be our only real protection. But Obama/Biden may even end up suicidally gutting our missile defense efforts, as the Left has been trying to do for decades.

This is how, imo, any Christian organization can turn to become part of the new age movement: THROUGH A "TRANSCENDANT JESUS" WHO IS AN "ISLAMIC JESUS".
I personally believe there are many in the Christian church who are "Christians" socially and politically - but who have no real spiritual "conversion" to the Christian God by personal spiritual salvation.
To whatever extent there are those in the institutional Christian church - or who identifythemselves with the label "Christian" - they can quickly and easily "MERGE" with the new age world order by coming to worship the 'MAHDI" as a "TRANSCENDENT MESSIAH" as they come to view the Bible and Jesus as this 'TRANSCENDENT ISLAMIC JESUS".
I don't believe, with Mike Gonyea, that we are going to see the Catholic Church have a positive effect on the Nation of Islam. Rather, imo, we are on the verge of the "falling away" in which apostasy from the God of the Bible, the JESUS OF THE BIBLE, occurs - as the institutional church (and those in the institutional church) who are mere social/political "Christians" but not spiritually converted in personal salvation Christians - EMBRACE THE NEW AGE RELIGION OF "MAHDI' AND AN "ISLAMIC JESUS" AND ONE NEW WORLD ORDER OF THE NEW AGE.
It appears to me this is poised to occur.

It may be that we are seeing history unfold that has been foretold. The "Christianity" that is the Socialist Black Liberation Theology is "Islamic Christianity". The "Christianity" of James Cone, Reverend Wright, and thus Barack Hussein Obama is "Islamic Christianity" which worships Jesus - but an "Islamic Jesus" rather than the Jesus of traditional and historic biblical Christianity.

Our politics seems primed to select among effetes --- one neutered by lack of experience, the other as a result of real torture.
What we have had in "W" has been a bohemian-connected, big government, ivy league, legacy-entitled, cowboy pretender, in way over his head, leading a governing "philosophy" that is more of an apologia for dysfunctional, club-connected, elitism. There is a certain karmic justice in watching other elites, mainly from the NYT and NBC, feed on their own!
Any fool should have foreseen that W's policy for ignoring widening gulfs between haves and have-nots was an unsustainable Ponzi cake! Some gulf is needed to sustain work incentives, but too much of a gulf undermines democracy. What is needed is a Goldilocks ("just right") gulf! For the life of me, I do not get why Republicans are so obtuse as to fight like hell against the principle of progressivism in tax burdens, while Democrats are so easily blinded by false socialistic promises of entitlement. A pox on both their houses!
Obama is only the latest frontman for more of the same club-connected elitism --- only with a Chicago twist. Do you really think Soros, the power behind the Democrat throne, is anything but a faux humanitarian?
I suspect Soros is a chicken farmer, and we are to be his chickens. After all, when has "hope" for a political leader who will deliver us to international socialism ever translated into more than a greased slide into failed states or gulag?
I am dismayed with both of our presidential candidates. I do not see a real *cowboy or political "savior" out there. But, I do still see hope in fundamental American institutions and culture, enough for Independents to help see us through. Maybe our founders really were inspired by a higher force?!
If we prevail, I believe it will not be because of some socialistic or governmental savior, but because of fundamental character instilled through the years among American Independents, learned more in actual experience than in elite doublespeak for rationalizing plunder among allies. Regardless, I sorely doubt the financial power behind either Democrat or Republican politics is on the side of middle class Independents.

Europeans will not sideline themselves merely because they feel diss'd, but because opinion shapers mesmerize them with that excuse. Not because opinion shapers would benefit from Islamic rule, but because they calculate such rule is too far removed to affect them.
Unfortunately, the money lust that funds Obama is not so different from the money that funded Bush. The significant money will not, and is not meant to, deliver the middle class to socialistic utopia, but to the N.W.O. chicken farm.
Does anyone really think Soros is a humanitarian, rather than just another power addict? See any sane consensus lately for pushing on any brakes? I see everyone holding sanity hostage, to make unsustainable threats or promises after their own pet concerns.
See any adult consensus among responsible powers for depriving Iran of capacity to put nukes into the hands of religious sociopaths?
Utopia will always take a backseat to sanity being held hostage.

The left wants America not only to have a secular government, but to have a secular society. The left feels that if people want to be religious, they should do so at home and in their houses of prayer, but never try to inject their religious values into society. The right wants America to continue to be what it has always been -- a Judeo-Christian society with a largely secular government (that is not indifferent to religion). These opposing visions explain, for example, their opposite views concerning nondenominational prayer in school.
The left prefers to identify as citizens of the world. The left fears nationalism in general (this has been true for the European left since World War I), and since the 1960s, the American left has come to fear American nationalism in particular. On the other side, the right identifies first as citizens of America.
The left therefore regards the notion of American exceptionalism as chauvinism; the United Nations and world opinion are regarded as better arbiters of what is good than is America. The right has a low opinion of the U.N.'s moral compass and of world opinion, both of which it sees as having a much poorer record of stopping genocide and other evils than America has.

The left envisions an egalitarian society. The right does not. The left values equality above other values because it yearns for an America in which all people have similar amounts of material possessions. This is what propels the left to advocate laws that would force employers to pay women the same wages they pay men not only for the same job but for "comparable" jobs (as if that is objectively ascertainable). The right values equality in opportunity and strongly believes that all people are created equal, but the right values liberty, a man-woman based family and other values above equality.
The left wants a world -- and therefore an America -- devoid of nuclear weapons. The right wants America to have the best nuclear weapons. The right trusts American might more than universal disarmament.
The left wants to redefine marriage to include same-sex couples for the first time in history. The right wants gays to have equal rights, but to keep marriage defined as man-woman. This, too, constitutes an irreconcilable divide.
For these and other reasons, calls for a unity among Americans that transcends left and right are either naive or disingenuous. America will be united only when one of them prevails over the other. The left knows this. Most on the right do not.

Nor has one Mormon official demanded to put his hand on the Book of Mormon. And it is hard to imagine a scientologist being allowed to take his oath of office on a copy of "Dianetics" by L. Ron Hubbard.

Bush's Legacy: European Socialism

The results of the G-20 economic summit amount to nothing less than the seamless integration of the United States into the European economy. In one month of legislation and one diplomatic meeting, the United States has unilaterally abdicated all the gains for the concept of free markets won by the Reagan administration and surrendered, in toto, to the Western European model of socialism, stagnation and excessive government regulation. Sovereignty is out the window. Without a vote, we are suddenly members of the European Union. Given the dismal record of those nations at creating jobs and sustaining growth, merger with the Europeans is like a partnership with death.

Will Obama govern from the left? He doesn't have to. George W. Bush has done all the heavy lifting for him. It was under Bush that the government basically took over as the chief stockholder of our financial institutions and under Bush that we ceded our financial controls to the European Union. In doing so, he has done nothing to preserve what differentiates the vibrant American economy from those dying economies in Europe. Why have 80 percent of the jobs that have been created since 1980 in the industrialized world been created in the United States? How has America managed to retain its leading 24 percent share of global manufacturing even in the face of the Chinese surge? How has the U.S. GDP risen so high that it essentially equals that of the European Union, which has 50 percent more population? It has done so by an absence of stifling regulation, a liberation of capital to flow to innovative businesses, low taxes, and by a low level of unionization that has given business the flexibility to grow and prosper. Europe, stagnated by taxation and regulation, has grown by a pittance while we have roared ahead. But now Bush -- not Obama -- Bush has given that all up and caved in to European socialists.
The Bush legacy? European socialism. Who needs enemies with friends like Bush?

Among the steps of (1) demoralization, (2) destabilization, (3) crisis, and (4) socialist re-normalization, steps (1) and (2) have been going on in America for quite some time. Now, the tipping points, at (3) and (4), seem quite close upon us.
Against this, we cannot beat something with nothing. And, America, presently, has essentially nothing.
First, America does not do a good job of inculcating civic appreciation of American values. Rather, “education” from media and academia reinforces feminine, pie-in-sky, everybody-play-nice, code-pink, “multicultural values,” with little admiration extended to “American values” or to manly defense.
Second, American institutions and academia provide virtually nothing to encourage citizens or students to trust to traditional values, as contextualized in Judeo-Christian metaphors and sacred stories. Rather, traditional values are being rapidly undermined.
Again, America cannot beat something with nothing.
Even now, American leaders seem content and unready to offer resistance to the liberal fascism of Bush and Obama that is tipping us ever closer to catastrophe.
Apart from Reagan (and Palin?), from whom have we enjoyed any visionary (or real) leadership for defining and defending America, as America? Why do we blithely assume the Cold War is over and that American representative governance is safe? Are no signs yet shouting to us?
Suppose a foreign government wanted to subvert and demoralize America. In what way would they behave any differently than our MSM? Our established press, whether out of ignorance, corruption, or disloyalty, have become agents not just against truth, but against America. Often in unison, they distort context, publish our secrets, hamstring our defenses, undermine our morals, dissolve our traditions, and dis-inform our electorate.
Now, we are so demoralized, we routinely see treason in our media, but have no hope that any authority will call them on it. Indeed, to do so would incite yelps of political incorrectness, hate speech, invasive personal abuse, or investigations unleashed by the secret service.
Meanwhile, our leftists seem to think this is just great, because "America is evil," "capitalism has failed," and "Bush and the neo-cons have it coming."
There comes a quickening, and there appears no way to avoid it. Either leftist minions, to consolidate the rule of thier owners, will eliminate the independent intelligentsia, or all who think more with their brains than with their hearts must rise to speak and act truth to ravening idiocy.
