The Invisible Hand

THE INVISIBLE HAND: A moving, invisible digit traces out a pattern, While inertia of the pattern remains, the digit applies an inherent capacity to fashion a doorkey that allows it to transition to a relationally connected but different pattern. Thus, the pattern in which The Digit is not contemporaneously functioning remains affected by the digit's functioning within the pattern in which it does abide. This process is repeated in perhaps an infinite variety of fractal iterations. Some quality of reconciling and apprehensive appreciation feeds back to guide the digit's artistically unfolding expressiveness of its existentiality. Every inertially established pattern remains affected by patterns in which operations are contemporaneously unfolding. Thus, the reconciling functionality of the digit is contemporaneously operatonal and present in all forms, even in such forms as it may seem to have established and departed. The span of time (the perpetual present) abides in the moving and reconciling of the Immeasurable Quality Of Apprehensive Consciousness that guides the unfolding expressiveness of the digit. Each mortal perspective of consciousness abides as an imperfect expresson of the one Reconciler. Each mortal expression fluxes among apprehensions of fuzzy expressions of unfolding forms of limiting patterns. The Reconciler moves without friction between unfolding patterns. Mortals, whose avatars are defined by forms of bodies, can move between such forms only at the cost of fashioning forms out of such forms. Mortal applications of doorkeys entail friction costs, while the Reconciler's application of its inherent doorkey does not. The Reconciler effortlessly moves among bubbles of experience that mortals can apprehend only with effort. That effort entails our experience and communication of an existentially conserved and quantifiable experience of a web of space-time-matter-energy. That web is the artifact of the artistically caring expressiveness of a moving invisible digit that is guided by a quality of omni-reconciling, conscious appreciation of feedback from its unfolding expressiveness.

Science is not a thing separate unto intself, Something more than capacity to discover quantitative relationships accounts for the existentiality of science as an unfolding activity. The materially signified cosmos is a creation, born of appreciative feedback between and among perspectives of consciousness that are connected by a conserving and reconciling Principle-Principal. What unfolds to our discovery is qualitatively dependent upon how we are guided to choose to try to model and think about the cosmos. What lies behind science is not merely to be discovered. It is also to be created, apprehended, appreciated, propitiated. Secular Humanists invest their egos in seeking to propitiate their concepts of Gaia as much as religious fundamentalists seek to propitiate their concepts of God. Models of materially indifferent reality and science unfold towards a self-fulfilling aspect, much as models of art, virtue, sadism, and materially significative and purposeful reality unfold along their own self-fulfilling paths. Each model connects in harmonic and disharmonic potentiality to amplify and diminish all others. Among mortals, such connections are to be appreciated --- not reduced to some grand, final, representation of a pre-determining soulless and consciousless algorithm merged to an internet on autipilot.

REGARDING LIVING MATH: Perhaps math is not primary. Perhaps math is secondary to a Singular Essence, which has an iterative capacity, which capacity is inherently limited to give expression to unfolding associations of functions, which functions correlate in ways that can be expressed as inherently limiting mathematical laws of science. Perhaps laws of science are the present mathematical rationalizations of commonly apprehended limits of the fundamental, meta Essence. Perhaps such mathematical rationalizations may change, as common vectors of apprehensions of consciousness change. Imagine functions set to cycle within functions within functions, wheels within wheels within wheels, alternating with (depending on adoption of, imbuement with, or appreciation of) various avatars of perspective or focus in relation to context. Imagine an Orbit that can be transitioned in interpretation to a Roll to a Spin --- a three dimension space that can be twisted in time simply by changing focus of perspectivistic feedback. Such as a hag that can transition to a rabbit, simply by relaxing how foci are shared. Once a Conscious Singularity evolves, with enormous potential and power to MANIFEST and IMAGE, what changes, if any, would/should it choose to manifest or imagine? Why assume it must fill any cosmos with any changes or measurable manifestations in order to signify its consciousness?

The measurable and unfolding manifestations of the cosmos are the first level signs (logos) of a communicating creator. Words to describe such signs are second level abstractions for representing such signs. The words of the Bible constitute a second level explanation (perhaps the most special second level explanation to date). However, the cosmos, properly understood, is a first level explanation. As such, it is hardly less perfect than the Bible. Regardless, no mortal can hope to appreciate either the Bible of the Cosmos in proper context except in subjective, receptive, good faith. We cannot reduce the qualities we appreciate in good faith to quantitatively perfect, objective explanations. Rather, we only deal with such quantitatives as happen to intersect with our conical fields of quantitative experience. As to the hereafter, we can praise it in nebulous terms, as being good or salvational. However, we cannot mathematically factor such nebulous apprehensions to quantitative aspects of the here and now. No spiritually subjective idea of heaven can objectively guide our conduct in the here and now. At most, spiritually subjective idealizations can guide the mores of people who hold such idealizations in good faith. However, there is no good objective rule that would require any competent adult to sacrifice his own capacity for thought to allow his thoughts to be dictated by any mortal priest who pretends to know the mind of God.

It's such a cruel laugh that Islam allows no iconic representations of Mohmadman, yet preys on the masses by putting up giant posters of the likes of such as Khomeni and Saddam. Long ago, the false icon people also moved their game to America and Hollywood. Who rules? The fitters of composite images. Apple of my eye. Posters are airbrushed and chosen by fitters of images. They learn what appeals to the masses, then fashion poster composites to direct such appeals to their advantage. The psychology of mass appeal and advertising. The only thing fit to counter that would be education by parents whose first priority was to their children, not themselves. However, education has been taken over by the state, which has been taken over by masters of composite fitting, i.e., false iconography (con artistry). Practitioners of corrupt religion, commie brainwashing, crony capitalism, and non-stop sex have united to turn human freedom and free enterprise into omni-duplicitous, mass persuasion of the thought-challenged. The Composite Mind Griffin has indeed been loosed upon us. The ultimate insult is that the mass-persuaded have also been persuaded to believe they are the "brights."

The unfolding of the cosmos is not well attributed to any single, simple, separate algorithmic function. Rather, there are myriads of algorithmic functions made to start and stop in flux among all such functions. No ultimate, single, unifying algorithm can be made to sponsor or start a cascade of unfolding patterns without there having been created to accompany it a relativistic way to recognize when and/or where to stop. This may sometimes be referred to as The Halting Problem: How can a mere program, in itself, recognize when or where to halt, once it encounters a circular or infinite regression?

An algorithm can be directionally instigated to act on an environment (space, time, matter, energy) that is provided for it to relate to by another algorithmic program. But no mere program can be devised by a mortal (whose being is derivative of a program) that will be an independent or complete program in itself. The directional inertia of each program will be derivative of the environment provided by the program in respect of which it operates. When a derivative program falls into an infinite regress, the only way for it to halt, absent interference by an external consciousness, is for it to so expand and dissipate in space-time as to be reabsorbed by the environment of the sponsoring program from which it draws its definitional experience.

How then is the halting problem, generally, resolved? Well, every algorithmic function can be expressed in respect of a tetrahedral, digital sequencing of switching for: (1) start up, (2) directionality, (3) redirectionality, and (4) halting. This correlates with a tetrahedral function of space-time-matter-energy. The Tetrahedral Function seems to be something beyond what we can conceptualize as an ordinary algorithm. It seems to feed, back and forth, qualities of apprehension with quantities of signification. The halting, the back and forth, seems akin to the unfolding guidance of an invisible hand of God.

American character and exceptionalism were born out of those who self selected, first to leave old Europe, then to leave the teeming eastern shore, i.e., the Mayflower Compact and the Pioneers. That character was filled with self sufficiency, individual competence, yearning for freedom, and a manifest destiny for spreading the Christian ethos. Now, that character is despised as "acting white." Salad bowl people do not come to partake of the old American dream, but to cannibalize and bury whitey.

However, whitey's progeny has invited this. That is to say, whitey's femimen and metrosexual women. The early generations of Americans were instilled with a key character trait that has been diluted, faster and faster, ever since. That was a trait for raising competent children who could raise competent children. That lasted until "the greatest generation." The generation of WWII had faced the Great Depression and the Nazi and Bushido Menace. But it was unable to raise children of like capacity. Instead, it gave us the flower children of the '60's.

Many of the flower children were never able to grow up. Their prefrontal lobes remained permanently fixed in the Droog fashion of A Clockwork Orange. Was the drug-induced breakdown of family-friendly mores a key ingredient for perpetually stunting prefrontal lobes and breaking down American Exceptionalism? In any event, every every adolescent Droog soon laid every wicked thing at whitey's feet. And so the old world mentality of co-dependent serfs and fancy pants pretenders swamped America. Salad bowl people came and demanded to be served, regardless of whether they worked. They demanded that we not have borders. That Christian values no longer be taught in our schools. That whitey be taxed to pay welfare to support Droog children. That their children be entertained to run rampant, without being profiled. And so a regime grew out of the salad bowl. And the regime has then used simple bread crumbs to coax a permanent majority to take up residence in hamster cages with treadmills. This is the socialist version of an earth friendly, perpetual motion machine. The new spiritual purposefulness is to eat your bread crumbs and give thanks by doing your time on the treadmill. So now we see the worldwide empowerment of the Perpetual Adolescent, the Nadsat Droog. We saw it in Sri Lanka. In the Somalian pirates. In the child warriors of African warlords. And we see it in the suicide-bombing captives of Islam, whose minds are never allowed to grow up (lest they be stoned as apostates). We see it in the welfare and drug addicts of the West. And now? Now there is woe to any whitey who upsets the Perpetual Adolescent.

There are ways to express our relation with God that comport more with tradition, and I agree traditon is an important factor. In some respects, but not all, I think such ways often lead to much the same place. Still, I think it may be illuminating for some to consider ramifications. Traditional formulations do not entirely satisfy me. To me, it seems more sensible to conceptualize that God has access to all the potential there is, but that does not mean that everything that is imaginable is potentially do-able. (Actually, I think there has been recent discussion of a similar problem among mathematicians.) Instead of being finite yet unbounded, I think God's potential may be unbounded, yet vectored. To say that God can do anything, yet needs to nurture us to grow, rather than simply to make us complete at once, is to make an assertion about God that seems to me to be both unnecessary and problematic.

In that connection, if we cannot understand God's ways, then neither can any priest who purports to be able to interpret God make that connection understandable. I think the cosmos is the inspired logos and signification of God. But I think there are, and should be, many ways to interpret and appreciate that signification. IOW, I think it is more important that each person should feel freedom to seek in good faith to appreciate God than that every person should be indoctrinated to a one size fits all dogma.

I agree that pain and suffering are necessary aspects of beingness. But I don't think it's necessarily helpful to suppose that a caring God must be removed from how such pain and suffering are imposed. I am simply trying to express where I am now. For all I know, there may be deficiencies in my interpretation, so I reserve the right to change my mind as God leads me to the light. IAE, I would agree that it is silly for strict quantifiers to under-appreciate the immeasurable quality of God. I think God speaks to those who are of receptive good will, but the message is one of empathetic good faith, not a measurably provable message.

The measurable world unfolds along an outbound vector of creative desrruction. An Essence reconciles and conserves a perpetual, substantive establishment and replacement of representations of informational idealizations. When one looks only to the significations, sans the signifier, an illusion presents, as if mere significations, things, were the cause of their own unfolding changes, as if competition and cooperation among insentient patterns were their own cause of themselves, rather than merely the correlative significations of an essence whose meta field is in communicative feedback with its particularly adopted and limited perspectives.

On some qualitatively higher level, this feedback communication must be demed of meaningful import. For whatever reason, the correlative illusion it presents of substantive causation seems necessary to its expression of meaningfulness. That path of unfolding communication seems necessarily to entail illusory unfoldings of evolution --- dripping in cooperation and competition, pleasure and pian, creation and destruction, built on top of ever more creation and destruction. Will there be evolution in Creation's avatars, to allow them to transcend from pain to pleasure to astonishment and awe? Will particular, individual experiences and perceptions of such astonishment and awe continue to be availed? Or must all individual expression be pulled into a centrally consolidated and collectivized blob of insensitivity to individuality? My faith and intuition are that the holism, to enjoy meaningfulness, needs to nurture qualitatively different experiences of beingness. That the tooth and claw of evolution are way stations along a spiritual path of pilgrim's progress. That individuals will increase in communicative capacity. That as they do, they will not be able to avoid taking on more of the view of others. That empathy will blossom, violence will decrease, and resources will be more intelligently cycled towards establishing and sustaining sentient and empathetic beings ... who will then be invited to colonize the cosmos.

To accomplish this, there needs to be a spreading of literacy that is not antagonistic to a reconciling spiritual holism or to empathy among various ways for appreciating that Reconciler. Spreading literacy and access to the global web of information avails power and potential to at least two groups that tend to be antagonistic. One group is not much attracted to any notion of spiritual progress in respect of a reconciler of perpetual empathy (though it is often sociopathetically skilled in pretending it is). That group seeks mainly to fill a void of insatiable appetites for pleasure and power, while remaining largely indifferent to the pains and perils of others. Conservationists may come as deceivers or believers. Some may think they believe in a higher purposefulness, without believing in a reconciler of consciousness. Whatever. Those who are empathetic of progress in respect of higher purposefulness are of the second group, regardless of how they may express in words or deeds their ideas about the Source of such purposefulness.

What presently confuses cooperation among members of the second group is blindness from single minded devotion to small, literalistic parts of the cosmos, i.e., sacred books, forced into literalistic service as if they were scientific guides to the cause and control the cosmos, as if they were superior in perfection over the cosmos itself, as if they, rather than the cosmos, should tell us whether the earth moves around the sun, or whether everyone who does not accept a form of abracadraba must be punished in an eternal fire. As literacy, empathy, good will, and good faith come more and more to connect the efforts of the second group, there may soon come a super enlightenment, which will join the better angels of the science and spirituality of all beings of good faith.
