The Singular Mind -- Individual and Collective

OF THE SINGULAR SOURCE FOR PROMOTING, RECONCILING, AND COLLECTIVIZING INDIVIDUAL PERSPECTIVES OF EXPERIENCE: There abides a Singularity that encompasses and reconciles all minds. It massages informational experiences by fluxing out representations of folds, in order to facilitate varied, separate and qualitative experiences. As each of our separate perspectives abstracts back, we come closer and closer to apprehending the encompassing Reconciler of our collectively various experiences. In this way, the encompassing Mind functions to avail the COLLECTIVE of all quantitative and qualitative experience. This is "where" all the investment in qualitative experience goes. It is qualitatively subsumed, to add to present intuitive insights and apprehensions concerning potentialities. As our apprehensions flux beyond the fold, we go further and further apart, towards experiencing things for which commonizing language has not yet developed that would facilitate the representing or communicating of such experiences. In this way, the encompassing mind tends to reconcile and COLECTIVIZE all, even as it avails INDIVIDUALS, i.e., the explorative separateness of all.

Without faith, there is no nation.  There is no political "solution" to the individualizing and collectivizing of Mind.  There are only temporizing ways to manage the fluxing relationships between individuals and collectives.  Such management tends towards good or ill as the faith and will of agents and avatars of management respect and remain receptive to good or ill.  Without good faith and good will, there is no good form or good management.  Loss of good faith and good will snare us towards becoming less than human.  We often tend to become snared as we open our doors to people of little assimilating good faith and good will.

To a lot of people who have learned to think for themselves, as opposed to being indoctrinated to become doggie dinos, much of what Palin and the Tea Party stand for makes sense. Problem is, sense is not what runs the indoctrinated electorate. You can't reason away years of indoctrinated stupidity. Trying to do that just alarms Dims and makes them mad. Most people (Dims) tend to be conditioned to think more in terms of hierarchically connected (drummed in) patterns than they are practiced in thinking in terms of logic. (Profs who cite tailored stats about IQs are liars. The base of the Dims consists of not very bright illegals, felons, dopers, rabble rousers, losers, and illiterates.)

To disrupt Dims' long conditioned way of thinking is to disrupt them. Disrupting them is fine, so long as it does not lead them to rally to common cause. To Dims, the Tea Party is like the red flag is to bovines. To defeat bovines, one cannot be merely a red flag for attracting common rage. One must be a matador, hiding in plain sight by knowing how to wave a red flag. Given a bovine electorate, it's too late for leadership that is merely right. Leadership must also have finesse. The doggies must be corralled without knowing it. Otherwise, they stampede and break down the corral. One must have learned cowboy whistles that are not fully comprehended by the cows. To regain effective franchise for thinkers, the franchise for non thinkers must be disrupted. Indeed, this is how Dim Pols mislead their own cows. Now, it must be how Thinking Pols who want to restore liberty must mislead Dim Pols who want to harvest herds.

If Palin has handlers who can protect her as Obama's handlers have protected him, then she could have a chance. But she would have to unwrap herself so she can finesse her flag, rather than simply be smothered in "gotcha" with it. The matador must be a showman. Perhaps only by her appointments shall ye truly know the matador.

By what intuition or insight should nature and nurture best be cajoled to produce conscious beings with desire and potential to consider, converse, compete, cooperate and commute about beingness?

How may a society of reasonably tolerant, free thinking entrepreneurs best be established and preserved?

How may empirical and historical studies reasonably iluminate such intuitions, insights, and apprehensions?

I can see how a mentor may help one navigate one's own way through such waters. I think part of the problem with humanities studies is that students are discounted. They pay insofar as they are deluded to believe they are getting help from a Master to get a leg up on the "objective truth" over everyone else. Profs know their pay often depends on the illusion they are able to project that they either know the important truths or they are in hot pursuit of them.

Problem is, in respect of most non-trivialities, the truth has more to do with the journey within than the journey without. The people who come to apprehend this "don't need no stinking profs."

Think about what can be done to resist this hoary Medussa. What sort of faith is needed? What forms may help, to reform the institutions that are facilitating the rule of nationless, corporatist devils? How can decent Americans put a bit on the mouths of the corporatist Medussa?

Imagine a smiling, caring Hitler on a pre-recorded pep talk for people boarding the trains to Treblinka: it is not easy, but because of your brave sacrifice and spiritual emigration, the mixes of diversity in heaven and on earth will be reset to a better change. You are the emigration you have been waiting for. Warm regards, Adolf

There is far too little assimilating faith in an American culture and nation. Without strong faith, there is no strong nation. There is no political "final solution" (or grand comprehensive bargain) to the individualizing and collectivizing of Mind. If we "care" about hispanics, then help them by encouraging them to make better homes for themselves in their own lands. It makes no sense to shelter a practiced thief or burglar by bringing him off the street and giving him the keys to your house. He will not man up, nor will he respect you. He will instead sieze the material opportunity to take your materials. The idiot rino and dino liars who say we should care by opening our nation and handing out free stuff do not care and they do not intend to be charitable. Rather, they intend to use the illegal hordes to overrun the middle class and convert it all to cheap and easily ruled labor. The free stuff they intend to redistribute and toss away is the stuff and influence of the middle class. What is well under way is nothing less than the final destruction of the political influence of an informed and concerned middle class. The women who have raised indecent sons and the politicians who have raised indecent inner cities are liars and idiots. They have no right to the high moral ground, and they must be pushed off it. Mud on their faces, big disgraces.

It!s not just Muslims who seek,to destroy the American nation and culture. It"s also Obama, Rinos, Dinos, and all their funders. The best way to make strangers and collectivists despise Americans is to affirmatively give them plenty of something for nothing. We're not buying friends. We're financing our own destruction. The demographic majority is high on idiot pills. We're paying to hang kick me signs on our backsides.

The Republican establishment is in this for the cheap labor, not for the fairness. The best way to guarantee an unending supply of cheap labor is to overrun the demographics of every republic with hard wired collectivists. Once that is done, borders will be unimportant. What is important will be connections among those hollow souls and deceivers who know the price of everything and the value of nothing. Instead of working to defend an island of decency, most people simply run back and forth seeking favors from devil dims and devil pubes. No surprise where that leads.

Given the temptations laid out to whomever comes to occupy the presidency, that office has become beyond fitness for any mortal. It has gotten that way because Congress has become so loathsome and weak. What has made Congress so loathsome and weak? Payoffs from international corporatists. International corporations have rendered both parties, including the Republican Party, irretrievably corrupt and ignorant. Read Ann Coulter to see how irretrievably ignorant the Republican Party has become. Neither party has capacity to give the nation leadership needed to put America back on the path to its founding ideals of human freedom, dignity, and spiritual decency. If our only hope in a party is in the Republican Party, then there is no hope in any extant party. The only hope is in inspiring new leadership or a new party. The only kind of Republican who could right the nation would be one who utterly deceived his sponsoring corporatists. That would put him and his entire commercial, familial, personal, and internet record in their bull's eye. In short, that person would need to represent a Christ like figure. He would need to overturn the money changing corporatists who are busily stacking the deck for cheap cow labor in the temple of human freedom. That could not be a timid person.

The data collection is not to improve the security of the little people. It''s to improve the fencing in of the little people. The prime concerns are larger: How to entice dupes to skip along a trail of crumbs left by their handlers. Perception is the reality of dupes. The regime's caring for you is a contrived delusion. Now get back to your weed and feed.

Sarc. What's so bad about prison? Free room and board and, when you get out, street cred. Not to mention the "feel good" of stroking self-justification. Remember the frayed electrical cord: "There's your problem, Vern." Well, wising off to officers is touching the frayed cord. But Vern Black never learns. Well, that sounds like a personal problem. IAE, it's not my problem, and it's not my job to change adults' dirty diapers or dirty needles. There's little in the "black community" that would not be resolved were a respected leader to get the word out: Man up!

No one smiles and deceives better than a sociopath. This database is too valuable to just be forgotten. Whoever controls this database will likely control the coming regimes of Obama 3 and/or its clones. At some point, if offered to him, Marco may switch to O'Rubio. This has gone too far. People of good faith need to unite to regain control. They seem to have all gone to look for America, instead of looking within themselves and then glimpsing that self in other Americans. We know what needs to be done. We have only to reach up and do it.

Americans, in collective, are not well represented by a bull. They are more like big cats. They don't want a bullfighter. They want a forest ranger. Just set up a fair system and let the cats be. Obama is incompetent, both in terms of being in charge and in terms of providing support. He wants to replace Americans with collectivists, but he doesn't know how to lead collectivists, either. There is little that is as dangerous as an incompetent being in a seat of power during a volatile situation. Obama got there because Americans went soft in the brains for a spell. Let's hope they wake up.

D'irs, unbound. Scary. Amnesty advocates say doing nothing amounts to de facto amnesty. Not quite. At least these hidebound collectivists are not enfranchised to vote so long as they are not citizens. Anchor baby citizenship needs to stop. Illegal busting in should be a permanent disqualifier from voting.

We know people who are conditioned to socialism tend not to be fit for life in a republic. We know how refugees from socialist regimes will tend to vote. We would be idiots if we didn't. Were it not for timely and unrelenting pressure from the thinking middle class, we also know what establishment pols of both parties would tend to do, if they thought they could get away with it. And we know they will watch for the first safe opportunity to spring republic-killing amnesty on the nation. When lions and hyenas are scraping for supper, it's no time to be a reach-across-the-aisle lamb. This is not a game. The survival of the republic is at stake, and socialist and Muslim refugees tend not to be fit to live in republics. You can't reliably fix long term pre-conditioning to be collectivist minded, mind numbed, or serf seeking. Individuals may often be given the benefit of the doubt, but tribes, cultures, and religions are subject to profiling for the obvious. If profiling thought suitable to occasions were not useful, there would be no need for job interviews or data mining. Animals and systems that are incompetent to profile do not survive. A republic that refuses to profile for its immigration policy will not endure. Indeed, corporations and democrats who want open borders most assuredly are profiling: For cheap serfs and machine voters. They are lying when they say they are not profiling, but only want to be fair. There is little to admire about feeling compelled not to call a lying hyena for the liar it is.

Our overlords are using government to push us past a point of no return. Many parents, especially in inner cities, are being paid and conditioned by government to become unfit. Once they are made unfit, they cannot be entrusted to raise their children without the oversight of the state. In this way, society is being pushed so it can never justify wresting the job of raising children away from the state. Which obeys the power elite. Our cow-dom is becoming a self fulfilling prophecy. In newspeak, human dignity will require that humans not be availed dignity. We are being fitted for the feedlot, where many among minorities will be content that we have been reduced to an EQUAL lowest common denominator.

International corporatists of bi-political persuasion are trying to make their accumulated wealth and power unassailable by rendering impotent all the nations, cultures, and economic clases below them. Republicanism and Democracy are only masks for sugaring the medicine that is delivered by those who know best, simply because they have accumulated the skills and means to deploy power and keep tabs. By and large, wealth in itself is not taxed. Middle and lower economic classes are ruled by keeping them envious of one another while baiting them with false promises. When needed to keep the gap that separates the power elite insurmountable, the entire system is simply re-jiggered, as by printing fiat money and siphoning it to reward friends who are too big to fail. Thus arise the new, worldwide aristocracy and the new peasantry. There is less bloodshed because the new competition is fought with machines more so than with peasant cannon fodder. And because the peasantry have been routed from every institution that could pose any viable threat. So long as there are plenty of peasants to man the machinery, and so long as the power elite become more and more unassailable, there comes to be less violence and more security and peace. For all classes below the power elite, this is the peace of fenced and neutered cows. It is a peace that, in Darwinian terms, quickly turns humanity into asexuals or metrosexuals, and turns boy scouts into penises without compasses. What fads and fashions will a power elite nursed from such a morally adrift gene pool produce? What new kinds of mind blowing bread and circuses will vitalize or eroticize the brave new power elite, so it does not fade out with a whimper, or fall to a new order of collectively machined minds, marching to invasively mind numbing and morally meaningless orders? Well, until we whimper out with the new academic wimpery, we will at least be less violent. Especially if schools buy back all the water pistols and turn scout troops into clusterfarks. Bottom line: The times cry out for thinking members of the responsible middle class to resist the absolutism of the new moral scientism and to insist on reform of the corporate form of doing business. Before all hope must be abandoned.

Technical skills are learned by doing, apprenticing, interning, and being mentored. Philosphical learning is accomplished by love of inquiry, by oneself. Apart from availing a forum for elitist indoctrination away from spiritual notions of decency and chaining towards material notions of degeneracy, what is the point of formal education? Apart from enriching a useless milieu of over-mommied, bicoastal deceivers, what's the point?

No one seems to trust Big Government. Well now, how about that? Fool us a thousand times, suddenly we stop wanting to play. Too many minorities for too long took the wrong message from the plantation system.
Instead of working with the mindset that freed them, they worked with the old
mindset that held them as slaves and then later promised to "care" for them
(provided they first help reduce everyone else to the care regimen). Servitude is so much sweeter when the masters front minorities and say they are caring. Might the message finally sink through to minorities: that the massas' care regimen entails monitoring and regulating everyone, 24/7/365.

Few communists at the top believe the state will ever wither away. They intend to be among the elites who rule and harvest all others who work for the state. Few Saudi financiers of Islam believe they will receive 72 virgins upon their deaths. But they do intend to continue duping others, so they can continue to harvest virgins while they live. The people now in power, whether they be party elites, sheiks, elite professorial dupers of naifs, or Obama fronters, act in concert towards one goal: get yours while the getting is good. This utter bad faith will collapse.

There is no good or evil in forms, in themselves. There is no form of republican contrivance that could not be turned to evil purposes by hearts that have lost all faith in a Reconciler of goodness and replaced such with a faith in material contrivance, i.e., moral scientism, i.e., material secularism.

I can imagine improvements in forms (reformism) all day long. But none would necessarily restore goodness in a land that has come to believe that the only goodness is based in materialism. Increasing the power of corporations, computers and contrivances in such a land will only produce proportionately more evil insofar as there is proportionately less faith in a non-material (spiritual) Source of goodness. Alas, such insight is entirely lost to our reigning Ivy thinkers and our reigning political puppet masters and all the institutions they have infested.

Snowden violated the law of a snoopy George III in order to expose what needs to be considered if human freedom and dignity are to be preserved. Not unlike many of the founders, Snowden has sacrificed and risked much. The comparison with Patrick Henry is not inapt.

The pace of surveillance by international corporations is a frightful challenge to fundamentals of being human. For good or ill, there will always be un-factored, new surprises under the sun. There will never be a final, set explanation of every possible thing. No matter the well intentioned reform, each change will always be amenable of use and abuse. Many of the reforms for which various proponents of political philosophy yearn were, at one time, covers for abuse. Many of the issues of today, about free trade, proportional taxation, and popular representation, have been many times hard fought in previous years. But the situational context is continuously re-churning. In pursuit of "the good," the only good "things" that can hope to last are good will and good faith. And they will be tested anew with each new thing that unfolds under a new context under the sun. The most important thing is not to lose good will and good faith in regard to a higher Reconciler. The only way to succeed in imposing a final solution would be to convert individual human beings into collective cattle. Presently, the culprit that most threatens to do that abides in the form of the International Corporation. Can or should that culprit be reformed? Given the pace of computerization, is reform desireable or even possible? Is our only "practical" choice between reverting to a brutish Iron Age versus succumbing to a system run by corporatists, leveraged by machines able to effect buy or sell decisions thousands of times a second? Can ruling hedgers, who must make profits or perish, co-exist with ordinary citizens of a representative republic? The fundamental that needs to be looked at anew is the corporate form itself.

Anonymous said...

In main part, the nation is no longer run by or for Americans. Yes, candidates are fronted for elections, but the agenda they are paid and made to serve is one that is set by "internationalists who know best," who hold all the significant power of all the institutions. The votes of the most informed, decent, independent, and middle class of Americans are watered down to be less weighty than the votes of the most illegal, politically illiterate, easily misled, and easily bribed. These people do not want the nuclear football to be in the hands of an American President who serves ordinary American people. They do not want any American President interfering with international corporate territories. They do not want national borders. They want cheap labor and people who can be easily intimidated and made to stay out of the way. They especially want people who can be convinced by media that all this is a good and fun thing. They want open season on an open society of open borders.

From 1870 to about 1965, the aim of American corporations was primarily to establish power in America. Tariffs were often used to allow corporations based in America to become strong. Now, tarriffs make little sense because corporations are internationally based. Now, industry wants to go where labor is cheap, not where tariffs are high. The moral rationale is that it's time to spread wealth to people everywhere, even at cost of reducing proportionate wealth among ordinary Americans. To that hubris, add the rationale of saving the planet (from warmism, too many people, pandemics, etc.) and saving the little people from themselves and their harsh fundamental religions (except to align with Islam, the harshest, for such purpose). So, super, power-elite overlords want to give us a green world, with wealth redistributed to eliminate all political influence in the middle class. This new aristocracy means to be benign. It means to enforce its power by putting everyone else in a benign, worldwide zoo, totally monitored, 24/7. The monitoring is to be turned over to machines, programmed to profile against disrupters. After awhile, zoo management may dictate that fewer critters are needed. They can be duped to a painless exist. How best to mix cultures is a concern. Cultures that are already collectivist in nature can be largely ignored, save for occasional peace keeping efforts. Cultures that still 'backwardly" cling to notions of individual responsibility and human freedom and dignity need to be swamped with such a diverse cacophony as to stun their electorates into submission. The new religion is to be Human Secularist Scientism, of which the new power elites know best, and of which everyone else must simply do as told.

Anonymous said...

There are flies in this ointment. First, Scientism, despite the hubris of its practitioners, cannot show a way to derive ought from is. That is a function for socialized individuals, who look primarily to God Almighty. And that function is served via intuitive receptivity. it is not forced via scientific technology. Second, no hierarchical bureaucracy of aristocratic managers is competent to make effective decisions for every detail that affects relationships among people. Third, competing tensions are bound to arise among the power elite, which are bound to expose its facade and bring down its edifice. Indeed, the more centrally a structure's dependency on lines of technology and computer programming, the more centrally vulnerable it is. Fourth, cultural memories will resist assimilation, and many will not go down without taking the power elite down with them. Fifth, very few human beings, when they reflect upon it, want to sacrifice their bodies and brains to live out lies they know to be lies.

We are met at a dangerous point in human history. We are met to decide whether the mass of humanity should enjoy a chance for freedom and dignity, or whether that chance should be traded for a collective of worldwide security. Agents of such Collective ask only that we surrender and submit every part of us that makes us human. Then, there will be pieces.

Thinking people need to begin to take action to tame the form of the international corporation. That is the beast that fronts nearly all extant political parties. Until that beast is weakened, the aspects of America that feed it dare not be made stronger.

Regarding Causation: I don't seem able to measure how we can access or control causes of causes. I sense we apprehend and measure deeper correlates of co- correlates, i.e., signs of deeper correlates, perhaps, ultimately, God. The things we can prove tend to be such trivialities as are true by definition, such as in mathematical theorems. Of the other things, we test for patterns, assuming long tenured patterns remain likely to recur. At least, until the pattern breaks and is falsified. What, ultimately, causes these patterns? It seems to be something that is beyond our direct measure in itself, but whose works are observed to our apprenension of likely continuance. Our observations, interpretations, apprehensions, and wishful tinkering seem to be factored and reconciled. Ultimately, I suspect causation is more qualitatively intuited than measurably demonstrated. That which we measurably demonstrate tends simply to be deeper correlates. That is, signs foretelling signs. We seem to play roles in determining how that "science" unfolds. Something seems to condition and program science, much as we program computers. Or our own habits and tendencies. Ultimately, we dont deal in causes. We deal in correlative signposts. I don't see how the ultimate cause can be less than it is. That is, the immeasurable Signifier cannot be reduced to a measured Signified. I doubt homosexuality is set in stone. I suspect it is subject to correlative reprogramming of one's orientation of will. Choosing to reprogram oneself is not the same as being forcibly twisted into a Clockwork Orange. Rather, it's part of growing up.

If pedophile friends and parents cause homosexuality, what about an academia that in effect promotes virtual or mind pedophilia? You know, all these credentialed adults urging "normal" experimentation. Who are the real haters and who are the real lovers? How is it "love" when people only use one another as experimental subjects? Nowadays, every time you see a list of social wrongs, the idea of mistreatment of gays will be given top or most influential billing. I suspect this is more about the continual churning and upending of social order than it is about any sense of fairness. I rate the probability at 99 to 1 that, once gay marriage is established, it will not be ten years before mommied Ivy metrosexuals are urging society to adopt polygamy. And they will call it scientifically backed.

"I was born this way" is shorthand for denying responsibility to reprogram yourself to become anything more worthwhile, while preempting any criticism as hate speech.

Do we want to encourage Americans to be individual explorers of experience? Or do we want to be safely interchangeable components of a collective? Is our multitude requiring that we become more like an unthinking, colectivist beast, and less like personages of individual merit and dignity? Are we trading our sometimes violent humanity to become more like secure blobs and pleasure satiated sponges? A society of sponges -- the safe and wet dream of lefties everywhere.

Thomas Jefferson is so cherry picked. He believed in small government. He would not have wanted central agglomorization of governmental control to the extent it exists today. If I use a government funded, taxed, defended, or regulated airway or forum, must I forbear any implication or discussion of religion or spirituality? Would Jefferson have approved nonenforcement of our borders? State forced recognition of gay marriage? When people quote Jefferson snippets as authority, does it not seem rather like the snot that says to his mother that his father said certain of her words must not be used? Nuts.

Thank God for home schooling. Public academia has become a sewer. If they are so wise and reasonable, then why is it that their "reason" appeals not to middle class thinkers, but to the most ignorant, corrupt, and socialy irresponsible? If you're for the regime, a nontransparent agenda that favors the regime is not a conspiracy. If you're against the regime and you try to make the agenda transparent, but do not yet have a smoking gun that is beyond denial by the regime's media, then you're a conspiratorialist, and you should have the IRS sicced on you. The entire regime appears to be totally into a crooked conspiracy to import and train easily corrupted lofo zombies against decent society. The last person to say it can turn out the lights. The usual idea of a father figure pertains to someone meant to teach you how to become competent to take care of yourself. Tne usual idea of a mother figure pertains to someone meant to take care of you until your father says it's time to look after yoirself. Ivy lefties tend to live under perpetual mommiehood. This means they can never grow up. They WANT to live forever under the total rule of a benign mommy, where it's safer, more tolerant, less competitive, and where it's easier to get away with justifying all manner of deviance and dopery. Obama wants to be Big Momma. Fatherly ideals are often rationalized as spiritual guides. Motherly overindulgence is often rationalized as based in the "science we have been waiting for." I wonder hiow many civil servants these o-bomb-a appointees hire and give raises to, who can never be fired? The demographic is rotting more and more. I don't give a damn about anyone's color. I care deeply whether they are worthless, entitlement mongering collectivists. Not only have these bums criminally assaulted our borders and polluted our academia, now they are more firmly than ever established in our civil service. The face of the IRS is upon every one of them. Cruz is right. There is hardly anyone in the central government who can be trusted to advance the American ideal. D.C. needs to be stripped, stopped, stumped, have its pants pulled down, paddled, ridiculed, reviled, tarred, feathered, fitted for dunce caps, and expelled. It does not need to be trusted to pass any more laws, regulations, or orders. The entire town needs to be sent to bed without supper and grounded for the next several years.

Anonymous said...

If our republic were healthy, filled with virtuous and politically literate free thinkers, I might agree. But the practical influence of that demographic is gone. What remains are ordered retreat and lightning raids. I can hardly think of an event for which I should consent to further tightening of the noose of the big government of the demographic as it is. The rinos and dinos in power simply cannot be trusted with more power. We need to think about what should be done in the world as it is, not in a world that is only imagined to be fair. We need to become an effective opposition. I cannot abide being merely a loyal opposition to the prevailing demographic of LoFo cows. The republic is at stake.

It often seems the common people have been trapped, like dogs in a potemkin republic. We follow the forms, maybe elect dog reps to say we'd like bacon today. Then our handlers take the lead dogs and say, Don't you think soylent would be better for today, especially if you got a bit extra? So our lead dogs come back and pretty soon all the LoFos are wagging for soylent. We seem just about at the point of being a representative republic-in-name-only. But our handlers are keeping close records on us.

I suspect our judges have capitulated to our neo-scientific social profs, who see no need for individual privacy, so long as all "victimless" behaviors are fully sanctioned by a big government that is looking out for us. For example, Leftist profs tell us they want to defend the rights of homosexuals to lead private lives. They argue, often properly, that it is not the place of government to intrude in victimless bedrooms. But then they go further and want to make it impermissible bullying or illegal hate speech to argue for public modesty. They are "scientifically confident" that there is no public harm in encouraging and celebrating strange private behavior. Well, there is this: behaviors lead to habits which often wire brains into addictions. Addicts tend not to be able to look out for themselves or their children. Loss of individual independence and virtue opens the door for increased governmental intrusion. The public harm is loss of a republic that can respect individual freedom and dignity. While parents are in a fog at group gropes, who is minding the kids? Why, government, of course. A government that wants to instruct kids on how soon they too can begin to celebrate their sexuality. Why, one might begin to suspect our profs are mommied nerds raised to help our government handlers farm our kids.

Our precious, mommied profs are often so celebrated in their carefully protected milieus that they are confident that their takes on science ought to replace the spiritual role of religion for churching children in values for modesty and for respecting their bodies as temples that, but for good churching, can easily be misled into bad wiring. A good base of swab data may help our government keep close tabs on all the anti-big-government types. Say yay, if you're a government favored minority among a plurality cohort. Sarc.

The Left diverts our attention, pretending to be looking out for our privacy and dignity by pretending to be against profiling. So, instead of profiling against our privacy interests, it conducts wholesale invasions of all our communications, trash, emails, and phone conversations. The government can now generate a dossier on everyone in its data bank at a moment's notice. And then it compares such data against what? Why, profiles, of course. Our government handlers are turning us into exposed cattle, as they pretend to be protecting our privacy and dignity against profiling. There is no chutzpah like the chutzpah of in your face, nose in the air, lying thieves and cannibals.

California is trying to increase the average IQ of its denizens by weeding out all the knuckle dragging conservatives. After all, liberals are more intelligent, right? Surprise, surprise. Academia, consisting of 95% liberals, contrives to educate us about how liberals tend to be smarter.

Well, not so much. How contrived to convenience is the bi-coastal conceit that those who identify with classical liberalism tend to score higher on modern IQ tests than those who identify with classical Conservatism? Today, would Jefferson be considered a liberal? How many camp followers of LoFo liberals are not classical liberals in the least, but simply entitlement minded leeches? How many felons, illegals, incompetents, and idiots vote the liberal line, not because they believe in reasoned fairness, but because they know which corrupt party butters ther egos, if not their bread? Classical liberalism concerns what would be fair in a hypothetical world in which actors, in the main, could be convinced to be concerned primarily with fairness. That is, classical liberals, and the IQ tests with which they concern themselves, relate to a world that does not exist. Except in Hollywood, academia, and nations temporarily floating basement dwellers of rich parents, liberal notions about IQ do not correlate well with fitness to flourish in the world of practical competition. Moreover, liberals seem frothy to denounce their own tests, when they show statistical variations in the breeds of dogs or the intelligence of races. Modern, self identified liberals tend to be too conditioned to contrived notions to retain capacity to reason practically, such as with regard to what it takes to establish and preserve decent human freedom and dignity in the world as it is. Their most basic security is preserved only by hazards and sacrifices endured by their betters. Yes, any Ivy egghead of moderate intelligence can contrive to test for "correct" answers to questions of fairness that pertain only to an imagined world. But that does not say much about the intellect needed to preserve moral decency and value in the real world. Instead of contriving to test those who identify themselves as liberals, test those who vote for Dims as opposed to Repubs. (Since there is no Conservative party, there is little hope, alas, of testing those who identify themselves as Conservers of human liberty and decency.) IAE, don't infest the test with liberal dog whistles. Get a diverse committee of foreigners to select test questions. Then, test first for capacity to discern mathematical and logical relationships and analogical patterns, and then ascertain whether each testee voted for a Dim, a Repub, a third party, or not at all. But don't give me contrived bs about how "liberals" (LoFo entitlement mongers who live in a world of purple haze) tend to test higher than knuckledraggers.

Obama represents a mortal danger, but he does not think he's evil. He thinks he's enlightened, that he knows best, and we should just do as he says when we are not bright enough to get it. He thinks conservatives must be dealt with as confused old dogs who cannot learn the new computations of reality. Much of the problem is in his background and training. He is a LoFo who has been trained to believe he knows best, and that the best kind of world is the one which is "open." That world has no borders and no dominant culture. it is governed by those who know best. Parents are a distant second to their elite governors. Central Government run by a hierarchy of elites replaces federated states and families. Marriage and freedom mean nothing. Group grope and soma are cool. Mores based on sacred books are irrational hangups. Wealth needs to be redistributed. Islam is a friend for forcing Whitey to redistribute. Elites need to protect the planet from free thinkers. Non-elites need to be inspired to believe in a new secular religion of Greenism. This "philosophy" comes from a complete devaluation of God and substitution of "scientifically reasoning elites." Obama is the god he has been waiting for.
.
I make it a point to read purported "science" that is put out by a cohort of elite
professors, who seem more or less to set the social agenda for much of academia
and, therefore, LoFo camp followers. What I see is a great deal of hubris about
what the "science" of regressive statistical modeling should, in reason, tell us
about what should be socially moral or taboo. Some of this seems good, in that
too much deference was perhaps too long paid to too many phony authorities,
based on little more than their say so and their rationalizations of
traditions. That said, elitist academia seems now to place all stock in what it
calls science, with little humility shown towards historical justifications for
moral, social, and political guidance.
.
The prevailing elitist presumption is that deep Bayesian analysis can provide answers to social concerns that are more "rational" (perhaps even close to objective
truths). So, the new trend for bafflegab is to substitute "deep scientism" for
spiritual intuition. Scientists for priests. Instead of blessing with priests,
"social truths" are now blessed with cherry-picked rationalizations, packaged as
rigorously regressive statistical modeling. Invent new bafflegab terms, toss
in assumptions "proven" by way of deeply circular math, and wallah: Every
student is suddenly made privy to the "truth" that the best way to establish and
sustain decent society is to do away with all discriminating definitions of
decency (and all old traditions and taboos that are not acceptable to a consensus of scientists). So, ask elite statistical analysts of moral science (sociology and economics) to define ANY moral limits, and what do you get? Anything? Anything? (You might get this: don't kill or hurt, unless it's necessary to roll up a conservative.)
.
How can "scientists of morality" reason how best to pursue a decent society
for availing human freedom and dignity, unless they have some ideal of human
freedom and dignity by which to be guided? How can they possibly deploy
"rigorously regressive statistical analysis" to guide us any such ideal, without
first having assumed (or intuited) properties of the ideal? And if they only
assume their moral axioms, then how, except by confusing LoFos with bafflegab,
do they purport to prove them with "rigorous analysis?"

Anonymous said...

There is something deeply troubling about this. The deepest
trouble may be: Without a quality of humble and inspiring respect for
the Source of all that we statistically measure (which Itself is beyond
statistics, but perhaps not beyond intuitive or spiritual appreciation),
Bayesian analysis, however deeply or rigorously gussied up, is simply inadequate,
in itself, as a guide to individual, social, national, or human
purposefulness.
.
Thomas Bayes was a Presbyterian Minister. Perhaps he believed in strict
predestination. Even so, I doubt he should have meant to infer that mortals can
scientifically determine how our every action is pre-determined, independent of
a participating Reconciler. I doubt he would have carried statistical analysis
to a social fetish, by assuming such analysis should reasonably take the
purposeful feedback of individual human beings and replace it with whatever
elitists (analysts of social statistics) may claim to be superior or morally or
measurably "best" or for the "greater good" of society. I doubt Bayes would
presume that historical experience should defer to Ivy snots with facility
for massaging statistics.
.
It is one thing to appreciate that God interfunctions with us, to avail
sequences of forms unfolding through a geometry of space-time. But that is
hardly ground to assume God has "left the building" (as if everything should be
discovered to unfold in respect of some pre-ordering, mathematical formula or
algorithm). Indeed, whatever algorithms may guide our social and moral
interactions, it seems self-evident that such process entails feedback
and reconciliation between perspectives of particulars and of the whole. New
levels are continuously, contemporaneously, and synchronously added, which
affect how each new situation unfolds and is subjected to the rationalizing
processing of conscious beings.
.
While a Bayesian Inference avails practical science, it does not avail
"good social science" without skilled deference to the participating feedback,
intuition, and prehension of conscious observers. Simply put, statistical
analysis cannot justify hubristic (Obamasitic nose in air), elitist, wholesale
denigration of the vested interests and traditions of elders of good will and good
faith.
.
Even to begin to apply calculations for testing and advocating political
and legal models, Bayesian-based statistics needs observers. Factors for
analysis must be identified, chosen, and interpreted. "Deep Regressors" of
social statistics presume that every factor of influence or significance can be
rigorously identified (as if the cosmos unfolds only in respect of ultimate
particulars, which are mutually exclusive, yet exhaustive). Problem is, such an
implicated Theory of Set functions cannot avail a complete, consistent, coherent
model of all of the experiential cosmos. In other words, if God is a
statistician, He is also a poet. (Thank God for that!) Important factors
often and easily flux on the tip of common intuition, without necessarily being
then and there rigorously defined, or even appreciated, by hubristic
elitists.
.
Suppose an experiment with a civilization, constructed to be comprised of
machined beings. Suppose one were to preset a machine so that it would follow a
simple program or algorithm, such that the machine walks. Thereafter, one may
enhance the machine and program such that it seeks to improve how it walks. And
so it seeks to learn how to rate its walking, in respect of various criteria
(that may be of a quality of not being mutually exclusive and exhaustive).
Thus, the machine may be preset to seek to continue to walk, by drawing and
sustaining ready stores of energy against external forces that would otherwise
deplete it.
.

Anonymous said...

Where and how the machine were to walk (or to compete or cooperate with
other machines for such purpose) may be determined during a process of
contemporaneous feedback and interfunctioning with the machine's environmental
field. Thus, its actions would not be subject to perfect and complete
predictability. Rather, the machine would accumulate information and patterns
of preference and taste --- much as if it were conscious. Eventually, it may
even self-program, to acquire habits and preferences for how it comes to acquire
new preferences ... of new preferences. Or a sort of trivalent, trinitarian
consciousness of its consciousness ... of its consciousness. It would thus learn
a quality of bonded selfness, or limitations of its consciousness of self. Then,
it may ask: Why? Why walk, or learn, or seek to progress ... towards what
purpose? To what purpose to progress, propagate, or project progeny or
iterations of itself?

If the machine were inspired to maintain purposefulness after it had measured various fluxing limits to its rationality, what may it contemplate? It
may contemplate: What is the character of the immeasurable initial field, or bit
of information, or particle of substance upon which its selfness came to be
vectored. In other words, the machine, to appreciate purposefulness, may return
to spiritual consciousness, i.e., a seeking to appreciate God (more so than
hubristic statisticians). It may appreciate the art, glory, and beauty of all
that has led it to its present state, more so than getting lost with siren
apologists for group grope and soma (i.e., Ivy Secular Humanists). It would not reduce such appreciation to "regressive statistical analysis."

As to profiling moo-sers, mooslems, and munchers, I plead guilty. Indeed. I also profile (discriminate, exercise judgment) when I decide which juror to select, which club to attend, and which breed of dog to adopt. I profiled when I first dated my wife. There is such a thing as fair consideration while profiling, but it is nuts to call all profiling unfair per se. Indeed, the jerks who insist that we allow 30 hispanic immigrants to every european immigrant not only profile, but they lie when they say they do not. If we want to be both fair and reasonable, then we need to profile ... so that we are not swamped with incompetent collectivists (guaranteed Dim voters). The fact that expressing such truth will get you fired is all the proof you need that the republic is already lost .. Or close to it.

To tolerate everything is to stand for nothing. The Prog idea of empathy is not to understand and judge and take responsibility, but to enable and fund. What will Progs disallow? Well, they fear even to confront minority ideologies that would slash off their heads. They confront established, sustainable, decent society. But they fear and avoid confronting (or trying to "raise the consciousness of") Muslims. The conclusion: there is no depravity that Progs will not empower, so long as it erodes established decency. Only loons and adolescents believe the prog mind will draw any lines for preserving individual dignity or decency. The Prog who says not to fear the slippery slope is a liar or an uninformed loon. Meanwhile, the parade of mooners plays on. Judging between rinos and dinos is becoming sort of like judging whose pants drag closest to the sludge. I didn't drop out of this society. This society dropped away from me.

We need gulches of conservatives. No moochers need apply.

Government is force. You cannot impose freedom by force. People who want to
exchange freedom for government want to be farmed. Among such cattle, one can
either farm or be farmed. Among such cattle, there is no empathy for those who
want to be free. Indeed, among such cattle, freedom is just another word for
something they don't believe in and cannot comprehend. As they understand it,
freedom is the entitlement to be fed, felt, and farmed. Except as fodder and
ruse, there is no point in discussing freedom among them. Instead, give them
dope to chew in their grass. Fence, rope and brand them by day. Otherwise,
they are in a state of confused stress. By night, protect whatever island of
repose you can manage. The Republic for Competents is gone, The Stupedric for
Moo-sers, Mooslems, and Munchers has arrived. As it turns out, that demographic
never wanted to be free. They are about open range, open borders, open
marriage, and open skulls. There's little sense in 'opin for much else to come

Open society, open marriage, open borders, open skull case. I've quit 'opin. What the rinos and dinos offer is no way to establish or preserve a republic that is deserved by competent people. It is the way to dissolve society so that it is flooded with the effluent of the corrupt, the inept, and the ignorant. You can't fix stupidity by adopting ever more stupidity. At some point, you triage to save what can be saved and you identify and toss the flotsam and jetsam. The Republic is gone. The Stupedric has arrived. You cannot be honest with a stupid electorate. Those who wish to preserve a decent republic must go underground. Into some hidden gulch. Adopt separate personas, so that when outside the gulch and among the stupid, you can speak in stupidese and hide in plain sight. Offer free dope to everyone who pledges not to vote.

It's gnostic dualism, in that the government is to blame bacause it no longer responds to anyone. Not even the President. Alien hand syndrome is at the nation's neck. It's robbing us and rewarding badness that comes from Obama's funders, notwithstanding their innocent intentions to the contrary, as they so earnestly tell us. In earnest, given the importance of being Obama, what difference, at this point, does it make? Obama is doing his level best to help us dislodge the alien hand. But he needs our unwavering faith. Most people probably would not entrust a bureaucracy of a collective to ensure the regular feeding of their dogs. Yet many are conditioned to entrust such a bureaucracy to provide for the main education of their children, as well as the redistribution of wealth ... for no other reason than to condition faithful coalitions of people who are selected for their propensity to vote-mug for a living. Obama's hope and change is to substitute gang voting for gang mugging. When the masks come off, the perps seem less stylish.

The time worn analogy has been that political swings track the path of a pendulum, always returning to the center. Something seems different this time. The pendulum has swung loose from its anchor pin. The problem is emblematic in the juvenile slogan, We are the future we have been waiting for. As if no one could do wrong, because what is right is whatever feels good. There has not seemed to be as much concern with preserving America as with tying America's adults up so they cannot interfere with whatever feels good merely in order to stand for anything larger. Now that the party's over, the pendulum is on the floor, covered in the bureaucratic vomit of Obamacare.

There is no need or right to require the federal government to treat or solemnize with it. There is no right to own children. Get a job and get out of your momma's basement. And go see if Obama will let you cry on his shoulder about it when there are no cameras around."

I don't give a damn about skin color. What I detest are entitlement minded parasites. Especially the horsefly (flying barack pegasus) in the white house.

Beware cherry-picking socialistic economists pretending to defer to data mining. One may better ask what guides the way data is cherry picked? Does some Reconciling Aspect of the cosmos conduct meta experiments, to test
how that which it likes versus dislikes may flux depending on context, purpose,
and focus? May varying experiments be underway in various parts of the cosmos,
perhaps to test how to distinguish likeable goods from dislikeable evils? Is
there some fuzzy yet "naturally progressive" goal to the evolution of complex orderliness out of chaos?
.
Within a shared system of reconciling constraints, for any homeostasis that
is temporally achieved, is it preferred that advanced sentient inhabitants
thereof should be instructed in fine detail with regard to each decision they
make within a collective consolidation of centralized control? Is it preferred
that the central authority evolve to regiment the distribution of equality among
clearly distinguishable classes? Or is it preferred that advanced sentient
beings should evolve in assimilated empathy in order to allow them to be
entrusted with broad ranges and degrees of freedom?
.
The first path seems to be advocated by "Progressives" such as
Obama. The second path is explored in Huxley's Brave New World. The third path
is often discussed as if it were the American Ideal. When Obama says he wants
to bring fundamental change to America, he means he wants to take us from the
third path back to the first, to restrain us from broad freedom in order to
deliver us to a collective, socialistic yoke, which he believes will be friendlier to Gaia (as well as easier on the minds of jealous incompetents and lazy,
entitlement-minded louts, i.e., the base of Dim voters).
.

Anonymous said...

The first path requires that economists (Krugman?) as chosen by the regime be
entrusted to treat adult human beings as if they were blank slates or
interchangeable widgets. They would aspire to nurture an outward appearance of
a successful collective, in respect of which inward values of freedom of thought
and action and individual expression and enterprise would be bred and programmed
out. (Sort of like a permanent solution to a problem that, to Progs, seems like
smallpox.) Krugman may be able to devise a perfect economy for indifferent
robots, tied to a central economic programmer. But I doubt his methods could
ever efficiently grease the working relationships between free operatives within
a human economy.
.
The second path requires an uber slave to install a program for the
deliberate breeding and programming of sub-slaves, who are never to be allowed
to escape the chains that mark their class.
.

Anonymous said...

The third path is messy and often results in jealousies among those who
compare themselves as being less lucky in lotteries of talent, energy, or
opportunity. This path becomes especially messy as discontented individuals
become attached to fever-inducing memes and religions. Especially as
malcontents and cronies deploy bribery to corrupt access to weapons of mass
destruction. Society, to protect itself, may then sacrifice privacy to try to
safeguard freedom. Problem is, loss of privacy leads to advancements in
prediction of antisocial behavior, so that classes of permissible associations
and behaviors are gradually constricted. This leads towards collectivization,
which leads towards efforts by the regime to justify and inculcate hive-mind as
a good thing.
.
The first path (collectivism) leads nearly to punishments for thought crime (and
IRS/DOJ/FBI/BATF investigations), as well as to irrational exuberance for
entertaining mental disturbances of despots. We've seen that road (Stalin, Mao,
Hitler, Tojo, ad infinitum). The second path (hierarchical regimentation) just puts us back in chains (even if the chains be contrived to be light). (What is the point of being an advanced sentient being, only to be kept in chains?) Without assimilating to a purposeful, inviting, caring, meta Guide ("coming to Jesus"), nor does the third
path (broad freedom) show any possible way back to Eden.

Obama's approach to appointments is that of a gay parade band leader. It's like he can't get his fill of mooning ordinary Americans. Anita Dunn (admirer of Mao). Van Jones (communist). Susan Rice (poised for promotion after defrauding American public, with obvious approval from the regime). Sarah Hall Ingram (going from IRS tea party antagonist to director of obamacare affordable care office). Kevin Brett Jennings (founder of GLSEN; appointed Assistant Deputy Secretary for office of safe and drug free schools). Etc. Instead of finger flicking his middle finger, Obama may as well be jamming it. This man hates American values of individual independence. common decency, and responsibility. He obviously hates traditional American middle class values. That's obviously what he means by fundamental change. It's long past time to bring out the metaphorical fire hoses and hose Obamavermin off the public streets. Even for the lamestream media, maybe Obamashines have finally gone past the point of being cute.

Susan Rice would not have started and maintained such a fraudulent misdirection without approval from the top. And if she had, she would not be in line for promotion. The lie is obvious. The fact that it has been so nonchalant is indicative of how much comtempt the regime has for all free thinkers who dare to buck it. If msm is not soon divorced from the regime's tank wagon, there will be hell to pay.

Re: "The NAACP leadership has abandoned its commitment to traditional marriage, family, education, self-reliance, and hard work"

Because Bildie-Cows have infiltrated, messed, and infested every institution of significant power, the same can now be said of the majority of nearly every nationality, ethnicity, and culture. Steering and collecting human beings into compounds for contented, drugged cow-drones is a worldwide process. All along the line, heroes of Bildie-Cows are indoctrinated and paid to urge us along: Matthews, Dowd, Maddow, Stewart, Bond, ad infinitum. Are we there, yet?

If you don't look or listen to anything else, no one can be seen or heard to be lying to you. That is, until the Bildies squabble among themselves. When they do, they will quickly paper it over with a subsuming diversion or crisis. Herders will soon soothe all the cattle by letting them tire themselves out and then singing a new cow song from a same page of talking points. After all, what country HAS retained any significant commitment to traditional marriage, family, education, self-reliance, and hard work?

When you look at what the media let Slick get away with, it's clear that Progs are not offended by narcissistic despotism, just incompetent narcissistic despotism. What got Obama in hot water was not equivocation until the cows come home. It was sicing goons and spies from the IRS and the regime against its own pet attack dogs. Even a trained attack dog knows the dofference when its master kicks it rather than trips over it.

The only point in the CIA brief about Benghazi was about the clear connection with coordinated terrorism. The "only" point deleted for the talking points was about the connection with terrorism. (After all, whyever would the regime want to inform Americans about what was going on?) In place of information was substituted convenient speculation about how such horror may well have been caused by a misguided, film making conservative who took pleasure in insulting a "great" religion. (Is this not comparable to the kind of imaginative story telling a smary smart aleck would tell a police investigator, especially an investigator who was getting "bonuses?")

Voila! A Prog failure was translated into a Big Lie for blaming Conservatives. After all, given captive media, that has always worked before. Indeed, it worked in this case to reelect a prezie. That is, until the regime showed its incompetence by attacking its own attack dogs.

Jesus did not call taxed redistributions "charity". Such gangster-collectivist mindsets about "forced charity" are set early and hard to change. American workers tend to be individualists, but are dangerously close to tipping forever into the collectivist mindset. That is a spreading world contagion. Commies did not win; cappies did not win. Bildies won. Maverick McCain does not admire maverick, free thinking Americans. Whether understood expressly or implicitly, McCain has made his deal with international crony corporatists. They believe everyone will be happier and better off if the hard work of thinking and being responsible for our own enterprises is taken over by our betters. Both Obama and the Gang of Eight want to fundamentally change (destroy) America by turning America away from a land of individual purposefulness, enterprise, and responsibility and into a corral where all needs will be equally satisfied, at least, to the extent we are allowed to know. No doubt, Bildies are applying similar techniques to herd up religious communalists (Islamists) into similar corrals. This is "justified" in order to preserve the Gaia view of Bildies. Bildies have no need to force us into demographically collectivized cages. They have learned how to lead us there by our noses. Maverick McCain does not tolerate maverick, free thinking, middle class Americans. Rather, heh heh, my friends, he chuckles at what he perceives as our impotency and our stupidity for believing him.

I am sympathetic to the idea that the quality of life would improve were the population to stop imcreasing. However, as people are availed means to improve themselves economically, the trend towards population comtrol seems automatic. Financing abortions does not reduce population, nor does it reduce unwanted children. It just makes young women more careless and carefree. Combine that with a welfare system that encourages them to marry the state rather than a husband and you get an increase in every evil: more abortions; more single parent families; more populations of impoverished families; more depravity. Civilized people have learned that wars of conquest do not make secular, economic sense. After conquest, you still need people to mine and work the land and resources, except now you have a mess to clean up, as well as neighbors suddenly made more suspicious. So how can mad men stir people up to make war? Well, by inventing a meta land of spiritual war. So, you "divine" who among mortals is spiritually evil, and then you stir up the spiritually favored to slay them. Because, in comparison with potential spiritual rewards, anything the here and now has to offer is claimed to be ridiculously trivial. (Notwithstanding that there seems never to abide anything other than the here and now.). Problem is, there is no lunacy that cannot be rationalized by resorting to such a way of balancing the scales of substance vs. spirit. When individuals submit and surrender the interpretation of their unfolding relationship with God to fevered people claiming to be carrying a divine message of material conquest, there is no depravity that is beyond bounds of their capacity to rationalize. Literate civilization will overcome the folly of conquest for material gain. But literacy is not enough to overcome the religious rationalizations for war. There will need to come some transcendentally persuasive and assimilating insight among humanity's leaders in every country and culture. It will need to be persuaded, not forced.

The arch theory at Google / Bilderberg seems to be that most people should not and do not want responsibility for their own decisions or the consequences therof. They want to be told
what they should like and what they should do --- so long as hardship is not entailed. They don't want to work on Maggie's farm no more. Obama totally agrees, and believes the middle class must be shunted into that system. Indeed, one wonders whether the President may be the Lead Cow to lead us to the Promised Feed Lot, as promised by Our Betters. Obama is "leading from behind" Our Betters. He was surely in on how the Benghazi talking points were vetted. I doubt Congress dares ask who above Obama may have participated. Comparatively speaking, Romney's multi-millions, although not getting him a seat at the table, may have made him only "upper middle class," not one of the Trusted Betters. Maybe he had enough wealth to be independent, but not to be trusted by The Trust. No problem, since Obama can be replaced. I'm trying to appreciate what I think is the obvious and qualitative character of a reconciling consciousness (God), without falling into any invitation to try to apply abstracted sacred stories as if they were intended as quantifiably perfect scientific laws. I think that kind of misapplication of figurative guidance unnecessarily contributes to political polarization. I think the Obama collectivists are as hidebound to Marxism and lacking in appreciation for the dignity of individuals as any religious fundamentalist who may want to reimpose the laws of Deuteronomy.

The problem with Obamailk, whether as believers or deceivers, is that their sacred books are the works of Marx, Alinsky, and Mohammed. These are not "better angels" for guiding any decent pilgrimage.

I'm reading Pinker on better angels. He makes much good sense, but I suspect he too much ignores that there is a real spiritual source for what what he refers to figuratively as better angels. To my intuition, it seems obvious that the measurable world unfolds along an outbound vector of creative destruction. An Essence reconciles and conserves a perpetual, substantive establishment and replacement of representations of informational idealizations. When one looks only to the significations, sans the signifier, an illusion presents, as if mere significations, things, were the cause of their own unfolding changes, as if competition and cooperation among insentient patterns were their own cause of themselves, rather than merely the correlative significations of an essence whose meta field is in communicative feedback with its particularly adopted and limited perspectives.

On some qualitatively higher level, this feedback communication must be deemed of meaningful import. For whatever reason, the correlative illusion it presents of substantive causation seems necessary to its expression of meaningfulness. That path of unfolding communication seems necessarily to entail illusory unfoldings of evolution --- dripping in cooperation and competition, pleasure and pain, creation and destruction, built on top of ever more creation and destruction. Will there be evolution in Creation's avatars, to allow them to transcend from pain to pleasure to astonishment and awe? Will particular, individual experiences and perceptions of such astonishment and awe continue to be availed? Or must all individual expression be pulled into a centrally consolidated and collectivized blob of insensitivity to individuality? My faith and intuition are that the holism, to enjoy meaningfulness, needs to nurture qualitatively different experiences of beingness. That the tooth and claw of evolution are way stations along a spiritual path of pilgrim's progress. That individuals will increase in communicative capacity. That as they do, they will not be able to avoid taking on more of the view of others. That empathy will blossom, violence will decrease, and resources will be more intelligently cycled towards establishing and sustaining sentient and empathetic beings ... who will then be invited to colonize the cosmos.

Anonymous said...

To accomplish this, there needs to be a spreading of literacy that is not antagonistic to a reconciling spiritual holism or to empathy among various ways for appreciating that Reconciler. But spreading literacy and access to the global web of information avails power and potential to at least two groups, which tend to be antagonistic. One group is not much attracted to any notion of spiritual progress in respect of a reconciler of perpetual empathy (though it is often sociopathetically skilled in pretending it is). That group seeks mainly to fill a void of insatiable appetites for pleasure and power, while remaining largely indifferent to the pains and perils of others. Conservationists, however, may come as deceivers or believers. Some may think they believe in a higher purposefulness, without believing in a reconciler of consciousness. Whatever. Those who are empathetic of progress in respect of higher purposefulness are of the second group, regardless of how they may express in words or deeds their ideas about the Source of such purposefulness.

What presently confuses cooperation among members of the second group seems to be blindness from single minded devotion to small, literalistic parts of the cosmos, i.e., sacred books (like books of Marx, Alinsky, and Mohammed) forced into literalistic service as if they were scientific guides to the cause and control the cosmos, as if they were superior in perfection over the cosmos itself, as if they, rather than the cosmos, should tell us whether the earth moves around the sun, or whether everyone who does not accept a form of abracadraba must be punished in an eternal fire. As literacy, empathy, good will, and good faith come more and more to connect the efforts of the second group, there may soon come a super enlightenment, which will join the better angels of the science and spirituality of all beings of good faith.

Re: "piggy bank for the Democratic Machine"
I suspect it's really a piggy bank for the party managed socialistic machine. Members of the Dim Party represent the common people about as much as members of Communist Party of the Russian Federation (which seems to admire Stalin) represent the Russian people. Insofar as our economy is not as bad as one might expect, I doubt it's because of good management by our socialistic politicians. I suspect it's because we have not (yet) caught up with many of our competitors in socialism. It's not that we have anything resembling good policies. It's that our policies (so far) are not among the worst of socialist states. I suspect much of the rest of the world still needs the dollar as a barometer of value, even though Progs have worked hard to divorce the dollar from value. But give them time to import a few million more easily herded sheep, who will be taught with all the tools learned by religions for masses to believe that party hacks are really looking out for them. Soon, like good Muslims, newly hyphenated "Americans" will think coercive subjugation is for their own good. Soon, with proper education, only black helicopter thinkers will believe that what Obamacommies intend is not good for America. Yup yup yup.

There is very little of grown up decency that restrains Prog. In their minds, they are entitled to rule, so they need not serve. Those who do feel responsibility to serve need first to ask themselves what kind of beast are the serving and empowering. Channel that sense of responsibility in ways that will restore human liberty and decency, not empower strident grass eaters and Pelosites goose stepping through Tea Partiers and falsely claiming to have been spat upon or obscenely caricatured in film. Btw, why is it all in good fun to revile Conservatives, but not fascist Progs or Muslims? What kind of grown ups alternate so easily between whining and flinging used condemns? Pun/sarc

Ideally, it seems Socialism is intended to avail expertise among regulators of the various institutions of collectivist society. Perhaps Fascism is supposed to be the strengthening of gangster incompetence by spreading incompetents throughout the institutions and reinforcing them to all be on the same page. Anyone who would report truth independent of the talking points page must be made to stand down. Or shot down. Somehow, in the real world of socialism, fascist liars seem to wind up in charge of running socialistic giveaways to grasseaters and goosey gays.

The way to close a culture is to centrally consolidate and cork control over all its institutions of significance. As America was colonized in the 1600's, much of the way was founded by unconsolidated waves of English, Scottish, Irish, Dutch, Swedish, and German peoples, many of whom financed their crossings of the Atlantic by auctioning and selling themselves to corporations for limited terms of indentured servitude. There was much land to be worked, much profit to be made by working it, and a shortage of hands. So servants were also kidnapped and brought in from Africa --- but they were without contracts for limiting their terms. As their servitude turned into indefinite enslavement, people of advantaged corporate position became hardened to the financial bottom line. Unrestrained corporatism soon promoted and floated those with the least conscience and the most depravity.

A nation that would assimilate idealizations of human liberty cannot afford to trust unrestrained international trade and competition among either corporations or collectivizers to lead it away from the default condition of human enserfment. Freedom and decency are not inherent either to big international corporatism or to big collectivism. There has to be an uplift, to inspire people in common to the better angels of human empathy. Otherwise, what rises to the top is not the cream of human liberty, but the floaters of indifferenly depraved defilement.

When a longstanding source of uplift, such as modern Christianity, is suddenly shunted away from the public square, people fall fast to a default condition of centrally consolidated legalistic despotism and bureaucratically stifling enserfment. Many such people will soon find themselves re-en-chained, not enlightened.

How much freedom and private property can a cow in a cattle feed lot have? Ok, today I'll chew my cud an extra 10 times, and then I'll go to the salt lick at 4pm instead of 5. Lay out on the locoweed until midnight, so I can sneakylike ingest it in peace. Listen to some gossip about those disgusting escaped renegades who are depositing patties on pavements, causing tires to fling them, all slimey like with green flies, streaking across windshields. How well I remember the smell of freedom on the highway. Cows got dreams, too.

Well, why is there depraved indifference? Is not depraved indifference the conditioning that is applied to every collectivist --- whether secular (Marxist) or sectarian (Muslim)? All for the State, all for Allah. In collectivist societies, there is relative peace (fewer murders) after central governmental control has been consolidated (peace after submission). The peace in collectivist societies is less because of inculcation of habits of empathy than because of inculcation of habits of submission. In relatively free societies, there is less violence as the citizenry assimilates to a more common ethos of empathy, often projected in respect of an idea of an inviting Reconciler.

The world is immersed in a competition between consolidators of central control versus projectors of empathy. Consolidators of central control have taken over virtually all the institutions of significance. They have walked in because of an excess of misguided tolerance. The only counterpunch their opponents have left is their innate drive for human freedom and dignity. But nearly every outlet of MSM is muffling that a little more every day. Human competition is at war with human cooperation. Behind the battle lines, proportional rates for killings are declining. However, once the battle is truly joined, that will go up in mushroom clouds. Or, if the battle is not joined, human liberty may well go out with a whimper. That is, unless people of good faith wake up and realize that it is not good to "tolerate" the bear or wolf who feeds on your legs.

Clinton Marxists and Obama Muslims have become joined in depraved indifference, while free thinking Americans have been sleeping in misguided tolerance, being told all the while that we've never had it so good.

Dems know a lot about their base. They know their base consists of entitlement-munching, jealous grasseaters and gland-parading metrosexuals. They know the grasseaters are willing at the least opportunity to recast everything to blame on the "haters" who have more stuff. They know the metrosexuals don't want any stuff being invested in defending American interests, as opposed to being taken from "haters" to pay for free condoms. Dems know that when Conservatives get the truth out, all it takes to prevent grasseaters and metrosexuals from tuning in is a few bits of ridicule and smirks from Jon Stewart. Or perhaps a new crisis to turn heads. Given how much respect Dems have for their base, you know that base will be well fleeced (er, looked out for). Unfortunately, Red States are joined at the hip to a brain-leaking, siamese twin that consists of the Blue States. This load gets more and more unsustainable every day.

An electromagnetic web of increasing complexity among interconnecting functions seems to be exponentially growing around Earth. Call it the Emagosphere. It seems to be self organizing, not entropically dissipating. How will or should individual perspectives of consciousness be bent to report to it? At Childhood's End, will there be any place for individual dignity? What, ultimately, should we call evil and what should we call good? Will it be good when the central authority can instantly correct "thoughtcrime," thus to prevent futurecrime? When all A.I. avatars will be controlled as the local police of the Big Giant Head? Will all excursions in drugged emotiveness and heroic virtue be satiated in solipsistic holodeks? Will any land be left for human beings who have not been reduced to metrosexual grass eaters?

Obama is a front man to put Constitutional Republicanism under fire, in order to replace it with crony owned and operated syndicated governance, which is a high tech kind of incerconnecting, neo feudalism. The idea is that middle class citizens, for their own good, cannot be trusted with real facts in order to participate in making real decisions. Where needed, they are hosed and diverted with new demographics of the ignorant and the easily bribed. The controlled message, no matter the outrage, is that resistence is futile. People have decided they want to be cattle, and they want cattle leaders. Thinking and working are just too hard. They don't want to work on Maggie's farm no more. They just want to be farmed. They don't want to hear about Benghazi. They want to see Star Trek into Darkness. Republicans will never be as popular as Democrats until Republicans embrace the metrosexual humanism of the neo cattle feed lot. There are not many places left on this planet for people who simply want to be human beings. How do you keep the devil's herd at bay?

Monogamy tends to make for more empathy and less violent civilization. Polygamy and deconstruction of marriage lead to violence that necessitates more central government and more surrender of liberty. Militant gays and atheists tend essentially to be the vanguard of anarchy that leads to despotism. Why else do so many goose steppers seem to be so gay?

Rejecting Christianity is tantamount to accepting big national government owned by big international corporations to fill the void. Once in this pit, nothing that can be leveraged to make money will be sacred. Not even human lives. Corporatists will be glad to make money selling means for jihadists to terrorize everyone who is unable to buy his own island and bodyguard force. People will be turned into primitive gland gratification machines, and they will be traded and sacrificed as such. Human empathy, freedom, dignity, and decency will fall into the pit, because there will be no niche (national home) for them. Once Christianity is deconstructed, so also will every institution that props up the "better angels" of our nature be deconstructed. This will start slow, then progress from sacrificing partially aborted fetuses to sacrificing old worthlesss eaters to sacrificing anyone who messes up the view of a high rise oligarch. And they will look upon their views and say, It is fittest.

Traditional formulation does not entirely satisfy me. To me, it seems more sensible to conceptualize that God has access to all the potential there is, but that does not mean that everything that is imaginable is potentially do-able. (Actually, I think there has been recent discussion of a similar problem among mathematicians.) Instead of being finite yet unbounded, I think God's potential may be unbounded, yet vectored. To say that God can do anything, yet needs to nurture us to grow, rather than simply to make us complete at once, is to make an assertion about God that seems to me to be both unnecessary and problematic.

In that connection, if we cannot understand God's ways, then neither can any priest who purports to be able to interpret God make that connection understandable. I think the cosmos is the inspired logos and signification of God. But I think there are, and should be, many ways to interpret and appreciate that signification. IOW, I think it is more important that each person should feel freedom to seek in good faith to appreciate God than that every person should be indoctrinated to a one size fits all dogma.

I agree that pain and suffering are necessary aspects of beingness. But I don't think it's necessarily helpful to suppose that a caring God must be removed from how such pain and suffering are imposed. I am simply trying to express where I am now. For all I know, there may be deficiencies in my interpretation, so I reserve the right to change my mind as God leads me to the light. IAE, I would agree that it is silly for strict quantifiers to under-appreciate the immeasurable quality of God. I think God speaks to those who are of receptive good will, but the message is one of empathetic good faith, not a measurably provable message.

I doubt Nature is predetermined. I think Nature can just as well be interpreted as unfolding in a digital dance of reconciliation between a qualitatively encompassing Field and its iterative relations of measurable particulars. If both God and Nature are conceptualized as predetermined, then I see little by which to conceptualize a distinction between God and Gaia. If Nature is not entirely predetermined, then Nature may be conceptualized as a derivatively measurable artifact (or sign or signification or logos) of God. Instead of being the only reality, measurable nature is thus conceptualized as the continuously and derivatively created reality. Mortals do not determine reality, but we participate in a conversation in respect of which reality unfolds to our appreciative empathy --- whether it be caring, indifferent, or painful. What we think of as Nature responds to an observer effect, which I suspect should better be conceptualized as an observer-context-purpose effect.

Well, I don't think we can understand God's intentions. But neither do I presume that God loves everthing the same or that God does not use punishment in order to teach. Neither do I presume God is incapable of acquiring new tastes. Whether God is real or not, the concept of God has real effects. I do not presume it silly to try to appreciate where God may be guiding us. Nor do I think it silly to suppose that our apprehensions may be part of what God factors as each unfoldment is contemporaneously determined. Otherwise, the concept of God would seem to reduce to an alternative but silly label for predetermined and dumb Nature.

For abusing the Constitution and public trust, Obama makes Nixon look small time. So why is Nixon made into the Emmanuel Goldstein of our times? Human beings, as much as possible, ought not be ruled. However, when they are, despots have two ways to rule the timid and the incompetent. One way is via the big collective or caliphate (Marxism and Islam). The other is via big crony corporatism (financial gangsterism). The first lies by appealing with crocodile tears for the huddled masses. The second appeals to individual industry, but rigs the game. In the usual state of affairs, the timid and incompetent seem to preponderate over the competent and industrious. Any hero of individual industry, whether sincere or not, will always be anathema to the lying apologists for collectivism. Simple demographics requires that corporatists will more easily be cast by media as Emmanuel Goldstein's. Mao and Stalin will likely always be rehabilitated by public perception before Nixon. The one who made individuals rather than governments responsible for charity had to be crucified in order to be made politically acceptable.

People at large are being turned into debt slaves, and this is being set in concrete by bringing in third world laborers as fast as you can say amnesty. The electorate is being turned into barking seals who cannot think past the next tossed treat. It is amazing that such an electorate can believe that such rulers consider them as worthwhile human beings. Once the regime is tightened and resources become scarce, mass sacrifices will be called for by the "better angels" of our new rulers. These are not better angels. They are better demons. A man who cannot rule himself will be sacrificed to the rule of another.

And once they have broken into your place, would you expect them to respect you, or to refrain from inviting their collective fellow derelicts? Regarding Black Holes: People often wear themselves out looking frantically for external evidence of an objective truth that is more meaningful than trivial definitional truth (such as that 2 and 2 makes 4). The arch explanation each person finally accepts seems to come upon him more from his own exhaustion than from skilled hunting. It may be that all the external hunting is only to facilitate eventual finding of a truth that is subject to The Within. Perhaps, as each person begins to realize that each of us is only a common, limited, imperfect iteration of a single perfect, immeasurable Entity, i.e., Consciousness, then we may find it in us, inherently, to accord more empathetic respect (not quite the same as "love") for one another. Good parenting seems to unfold in this way: Children are inculcated with essential tools. They then experiment as adolescents, under guidance. And then they are entrusted as adults. The problem is in getting children to want to grow up.

Delayed maturity because of mass dysfunctionality in families just produces more cycles of delayed maturity. Every time we license elitists to regulate adults in fine with measured force, we produce just another disappointing dystopia for adults-in-name-only. Perhaps we should stop trying to force so many of our imperfections on others. Thus, we may begin to accord more respect for each person in his or her separate quest to relate to the common Source. Respect for the imperfect independence of adults is not owed because they competently earned it, but because they are endowed with it. And because we, being imperfect ourselves, are not the agency that is equipped to perfect them. When we begin to respect each adult as a separate Pilgrim, not as an entitled stomach or gland, we may stop empowering the search for the perfect, collectivizing, cattle feed lot. We may then begin to find ways to communicate in the logos of the One that permeates within.

The alternative is to allow ourselves to be ruled by people who lack the good sense to know what they do not know, even as they push us towards a certain calamity: Knownothing Progs revenging with pitchforks.

We would be much better off had we more scorn and less pity. Those who think God is only about unrestricted love tend to hate the Old Testament, where the lessons of the day dealt with hard issues of survival among competing spiritual ideologies and cultures. The empathy of a God who is involved with leading and teaching us, who is into appreciative feedback that is availed only by hard evolution, is not necessarily restricted to love. A good parent will often punish a child, but will not "love" imposing punishment. An excess of tolerance will kill every decent thing.

Promoters look for middle managers who can relate well to newly employed youth. Newly employed youth relate best to middle managers who are apologists for instant gratification and projection of blame onto old fogies who need to be moved on. Until the old fogies are moved on, Few others notice or defend against the primitives banging at the door. The majority of Americans realize this, but the youth and their middle managers do not. Because of a consortium of lofo voters, these lofo middle managers are soon promoted to high political management. When these choomers tell small business owners that "they did not built that," it's because these choomers know they themselves have not built or earned anything. The problem is: How can most Americans be brought to realize what is going on and then get activated to turn it back? This problem is in our youth and all our institutions. It may as well be in our blood and water systems. The direness of the situation can hardly be overstated. Meanwhile, comedy shops thrive by redirecting the concern. Evil is hammering at the gate, but Americans are entertained and laughing. Don't trust anyone under 60.

While there seems no limit on the possible number of iterative permutations of inter functionings of perspectives of consciousness, I wonder how "separate" each perspective really is. The quality of being a perspective of consciousness seems to partake of one common aspect or identity. Consciousness is consciousness. I wonder how separate each iteration "really" is, as opposed simply to being a mathematically renormalized expression of a singular reconciling quality? The measurable reality we participate in creating may consist of iterative expressions of the present state of mind of a reconciling function of the one consciousness of which we all partake. When our present perspectives are primitive, that may express an iterative shadow of a present state of apprehension in the reconciling consciousness. Insofar as evolution of avatars of communication seems necessarily to be bloody in tooth and claw, it may be that complete escape from the primitive is not possible, even for the Reconciler. Not if anything is to compete to be carried forward as a communication of harmonies and apprehensions.

Anonymous said...

A question begged is: what is the quality of chaos? I qualitatively intuit, but cannot measurably demonstrate, that the Reconciler its/his/herself is appreciatively purposeful. I think immeasurably appreciative reconciliation is a key qualitative factor for how chaos sets forth paths and patterns that can be appreciated as purposeful. Self fulfilling purposefulness seems to orbit along a path of cyclic feedback. Faith and meaningfulness are inextricably linked to a quality whose works can be seen but not measurably attributed, which may sometimes be called chaos. If there is a qualitative difference between an atheist and a person of faith, it would seem to be in the believer's bootstrapping, self fulfilling faith in a reconciling meaningfulness. That is, an attitudinal disposition towards optimistic purposefulness.

Beingness seems to unfold as the reconciled effect of purposeful observers apprehensively functioning in respect of a shared context. This "observer effect" is reconciled, whereby particularly vectored perspectives are reconciled to their holistic context. I would call this the "observer-purpose-context effect." Because that effect is trivalent, I don't think truth can be set in stone in any bright line between matter and consciousness, between preset laws and contemporaneously determined unfoldings, or between subconsciously conditioned preferences and consciously manipulated (conspiratorial?) outcomes.

Unless God were an ultimate and punitive conspirator, that which fires minds to common courses is not conspiracy-in-itself, but apprehensions of feedback from unfolding patterns of fractals. Conspiracies do unfold, but I doubt they follow any predetermination of the alpha and the omega. Rather, there is a dance of appreciative feedback between patterns of consciousness and measurable significations in their communications. Morality and Truth are invisible hands functioning with a material glove. The hand-in-glove effect is observed and often credited as "conspiracy." While patterns are measurably mainfest, their unfoldings are not necessarily consciously predetermined. Rather, many patterns are reconciled in concert with contemporaneously shared apprehensions. Strictly speaking, I don't think we have either free will or predetermination. So there is no such thing as "conspiracy in itself." Rather, I suspect our human freedom and dignity are qualitative functions of how we participate as appreciative avatars of contemporaneous co-determination. (The better shorthand label for that may be "conscious will," rather than "free will.")

Regardless, "levers of determination" are being consolidated into a kind of meta machine of collectivism. Fewer and fewer people are being positioned to push and pull levers of all significant institutions of collective civilization (including institutions of banks, foundations, academia, media, moral persuasion, and regulatory enforcement). The participatory influence of individuals who measure themselves as being distant from such levers of influence seems less direct. Thus, people who measure themselves as being distant from levers of influence often think those who are seated with their hands on such levers are operating in unison, in order to effect some nefarious and preplanned conspiracy. No doubt, some planners ARE more powerfully seated than others. Indeed, I suspect most people in seats of power DO presently tend to be disposed to want to continue to benefit by farming people collectively.) Yet, all are subject to an unfolding and qualitative dance, i.e., an "observer-purpose-context effect." Even so, every competent mind that can apprehend can contribute to communicate such apprehensions as are to be reconciled. Apprehensions that "make sense" will be pushed forward --- but not before their time. (For example, I doubt the time for apprehending this comment has arrived. Say what?)

The thing is, international socialism and crony corporatism are becoming interchangeable labels for pursuing the same thing: the feed-lot farming of human beings. I don't think human freedom and dignity are "progressing," nor do I think that losing appreciation for transcendent spiritual values is "progress." The life of a cow in a feed lot is less violent. Numerically, there may be many more cattle now raised in feed lots or confined to pastures than there were in the early days of the Texas Longhorns. No doubt, feed lot cattle are bred (and soon to be genetically modified) to be peaceable and easily led. Until a disease spreads, like Mad Cow disease, the number of years of modern cow life will greatly exceed the years of Longhorn life. However, I am not sure I would call the life of a feed lot cow qualitatively better than the life of a Longhorn. I suspect it's only
"better" (or fitter) once the cows are bred to it.

Being bred to the feed lot, cows learn to feel "entitlted" to their feed and pasturage. They would become unable to cope without the gay fences, brands, and neuterings that are imposed by their rancher. I don't credit this to "progress" or to the better angels of cow nature. Nor do I see much freedom or dignity in it. Of course, cows are not taught about freedom and dignity. Nor, for that matter, are collectivized human beings. If taught (or conditioned to) anything, they are taught that gay and neutered cow sex and devotion to fattening grains is good. Their glands lead them to moo in unison. I don't think this kind of increase in peaceableness and harmonic glandular pleasuring correlates with an increase in personal virtue or collective merit.

Nor do I think collectivist farming of human beings correlates in the long run with increased life spans. All that nature needs to debunk that correlation is time to promote a few more bugs and plagues to strike at bottlenecks of common dependencies on technological pipelines. The godless feed lot and the genetically-designed-for-collectivized-civilization human being is not necessarily the apex of merit or the progress of "better angels." I don't think there is virtue in capitalism without respect for transcendent values and the traditional family. Take away God and the family and what you are left with is the farming of the human feed lot. I wonder, will that be gay enough for our Ivy profs?

Real charities work to get sponsored derelicts off the dole. But government sees derelicts as voters. So government works to recruit derelicts to the dole. It's a Catch 22 Ratchet Racket: First, these guys have to be brought on board, in the name of diversity. Then, once they are on board, the only persons they will promote are those who are like them. Apparently, generations that did not sacrifice, but to whom much was given, are trying to merit what they have been given ... by giving it away ... to people whose only claim to meriting it is that they are "entitled" to it. Obamanuts have no gravity. They suck everything as an entitlement, as a walking Aids contagion against which our collective so far has no effective antibody.

The mind of someone who has been conditioned to accept the shame that is Islam has necessarily been made impervious to attacks that would shame Islam. A mind that has been bent to accept the justice of obvious injustice will likely never be able to grow out of the bend.

To advertise that one has no values that disagree with streaming propaganda is to let it be known that one is willing to do whatever the regime asks, with no standards that would get in the way. On the other hand, to mention that one does have standards apart from the propaganda stream is to put oneself on the regime's do not promote list. Obama became prez by celebrating everything and never defending a standard of decency unless it was popular with the propaganda stream for a collectivist people's republic. Whatever insults the traditional values of individually competent people, the Obamanats are quick to glom onto it.

I,don't think the center can hold. I think we must fall apart. Indeed, I prefer that we do fall apart. I don't believe a nation can survive believing in homosexual marriage and toleration of front men for sharia law. This isn't science. It's a matter of knowing who you are and what you can stand and stand for.

Anonymous said...

Marriage should have to do with committing to an exclusive relationship in order to offer a good example for the propagation or teaching of children. Homosexual intercourse has no relationship to that purpose. Facilitating homosexual pleasure, in itself, has little to do with facilitating a decent and sustainable society of human freedom and dignity. It's just a child's wart, pretending to be a face.

Imagine a loving father and mother who produce two children and try to provide a good home for them. The children fall in with neighbor children who are fascinated, almost exclusively, with violent video games, music, drugs, and every kind of sex that feels good. So the children, instead of listening to bedtime stories or discussions about a loving and inviting God, want always to ask about things in which the parents have never been interested. Soon, the relationship cools, the parents come to be seen as out of it, and the parents soon have no way to reach or communicate with the children. In effect, the children will have transitioned to a different reality. The parents will be unable to find value in the children's new reality, and the children will not understand the parents. There is no "ministering" connection. If you want a ministering connection, you don't let the children disassimilate into a land that vomits up from an excess of immediate gratifications. The land of the children is an unsustainable land. The land of the parents cannot recover them. A divorce seems inevitable. Let the homosexually married go. Let them take their knowitall answers to secular utopia with them. Just go; be off with them.

Marriage should not be a word, and neither should it be licensed. There should be no prohibition against sex between consenting adults. Only the result of sex, if leading to a fetus, should in some instances be prohibited or aborted. Replacement should be via civil unions. I guess nothing should preclude a civil union from being for a limiting, alternating or contingent time. Good for a week, or until three healthy boys are produced, or until a better offer comes along. Or maybe a union should be in effect only so long as the male is in a particular house. When he goes to a different house, there is a different union. The contractual terms should govern. The state should not have power to alter or extend the terms or conditions of child support. Apart from merely ratifying the contractual interests of participants, society at large has no legitimate interest in incenting or channeling lasting and exclusive unions for the purpose of propagating or raising children (moist property), whether natural born or adopted. Sarc.

To desire not to be profiled for subscribing to a creed that advocates dealing death to infidels is to desire to preserve one's option to do evil in the dark. If they are true believers, why not wear the profile proudly? Answer: Tarquia in the dark.

By cherry picking the numbers, for example, by not counting abortions, it's easy for any fairly competent egghead to show that modern society is statistically "less violent." That is, up until the flash point. Among themselves, zombies may be less violent. But most conservatives would consider that violence had indeed been done: To Progs' brains and personhoods. Keeping stats on such things often seems rather faux-scientifical. I think what conservatives tend to rely on, and what progs lack, is a quality of common sense. We know it when we see it.

I had a dream last night about Flash Fogies. It entailed that people of
experience, judgment, good will, and good faith will be respected. That the
political and crony influence of nefarious monied interests will be leveled.
That the Fed will be audited. That major institutions and foundations of
government, business, charity, religion, finance, media, news, entertainment,
education, and diplomacy will advocate to defend boundaries of human freedom and
dignity. That a city on a hill, comprised of free thinking citizens of good
will and good faith, will arise and defend its territorial and moral boundaries
against the onslaughts of all evil combines that seek to undermine it. That
public schools will be exposed as crony-run, government-indoctrinated dens of
iniquitous incompetence. That traditional families will be respected as the
keystone of decent and limited government. That practitioners of partial birth abortion will be exposed as murderers. That doing dope will be exposed as being dopey.

Imagine if retired people were to actively engage, rather than consent to
being used. Imagine if, every time a group of choomers took an overpass to
flash posters saying, Honk if you like Mary Jane, there were on hand organizations of Flash Fogies to take APB's to storm the bridge with their own
posters! All in good grins :), of course. (With maybe a few retired military
made up to look more elderly than they were.) They could make it a kind of continuing program of self education. Even keep stats and demographic info, to make it "scientific!"

As Flash Fogies, they could flash their own posters, saying such things as: Honk if you think Washington D.C. is a cess pool that is not too big to fail. Honk if you thing the Gang of Eight uses illegal labor to shield corrupt money. Honk if you think the Fed is a Trojan Horse for international cronies. Honk if you think Warren Buffet should impose a voluntary tax on his wealth. Honk if you think Obama is the worst
President ever. Honk if you think a creed that advocates death for apostates
does not respect the free exercise of religion. Honk if you think the family is
the keystone of decent government. Honk if you think socialists are not
equipped to respect humanity. Honk if you think foreigners own too much of
American infrastructure.

Many Americans who are not retired may fear they would lose their jobs if
they participated. However, they could help as staff. If pockets of Flash
Fogies were to spring up, they would be noticed. If they loosely united on the
Internet, they could acquire significant political influence. Or it could just
be a dream.

Redemption is available as long as there's God in heaven. It's just not easy, nor are we entitled to it. Nor, in the scheme of things, is America as important as the ideal of America. As long as we have that, we will endure and eventually prosper. Meantime, we can nurture faith to empower thinkers of strong and good will, as we can. With enough thinkers, maybe retired people of intellect and will can organize their own cells and flash mobs, to overwhelm town meetings, poll booth intimidators, and anti-American enemy media. Have an outlet for dispersing signs for foggie power. (Honk if you think dope is dumb. If you think partial birth abortion is murder. if you think college tuition is a racket. if you think most media is hoary. if you think Obama is bent on ruining America. if you think Congress is bought and paid for. if you think Islam gives religion a bad name. if you think the Fed should be audited. If you think people who hire illegal immigrants should pay heavy penalties. etc. Do it as a social study. Keep counts and correlate with locations.). After all, 70 is the new 30.

I suppose everyone can have his own idea of a soft Christian or fundie. Personally, I don't see why a stalwart Christian must be a complete literalist. One can be a stalwar(not soft) Christian and believe in the Golden Rule, not to empower lout'ism, but to teach independent competence. A stalwart can believe charity comes from individuals and volunteer associations, not from forced government. A stalwart can believe in teaching children to teach children to teach children to respect sustainable family values. A stalwart can believe in defending a nation of stalwarts from communal raiders and cannibals. A stalwart can believe in preserving a city on a hill from the onslaughts of adolescent takers. That is not "soft" Christianity, even if it is not literalistic. Rather, it comports well with much of what Jesus actually said. It does not seek to use government to force "rights" to tear down sustainable family values. Tearing down seems to be what anti-Christians (whether soft or fundie in collectivism) want.

You seem to assume there is a collective way to resist. I wish there were. I wish there were an organized Tea Part Third Political Party that represented human beings of good common sense. But there is not. The best that has been done is to organize pockets of resistance. Those pockets will eventually reassimilate. That will require catalyzing events. There is general unease among conservatives, but not an assimilating vision. Many allies of convenience are oriented towards single issues, such as freedom to do dope or freedom to sell and trade all of America that one can to foreigners. Or freedom to acquire unlimited wealth for the purpose of buying politicians and establishing dynasties. There are boiling antagonisms, but no assimilating philosophy or leadership of vision. Leaders arise and are promptly trashed. Rubio. Paul. Ryan. Palin. Romney. Until the sustainable American ethos is reassimilated, the way forward seems to be limited to organizing pockets of resistance while trying to inspire a reassimilating vision. Which has yet to be assimilated.

God help us survive the religion of the Adolescent Droog in Chief, the man with no character, the little man who wasn't there, but who helped kill much of American exceptionalism all the same. American character and exceptionalism were born out of those who self selected, first to leave old Europe, then to leave the teeming eastern shore, i.e., those of the Mayflower Compact and the Pioneers. That character was filled with self sufficiency, individual competence, yearning for freedom, and a manifest destiny for spreading the Christian ethos. Now, that character is despised as "acting white." Salad bowl people do not come to partake of the old American
dream, but to cannibalize and bury whitey.

Whitey's progeny has invited this. That is to say, whitey's femimen
and metrosexual women. The early generations of Americans were instilled with a
key character trait that has been diluted, faster and faster, ever since. That
was a trait for raising competent children who could raise competent children.
That lasted until "the greatest generation." The generation of WWII had faced
the Great Depression and the Nazi and Bushido Menaces. But it was unable to
raise children of like capacity. Instead, it gave us the flower children of the
'60's.

Many of the flower children were never able to grow up. Their prefrontal
lobes remained permanently fixed in the Droog fashion of A Clockwork Orange.
Was the drug-induced breakdown of family-friendly mores a key ingredient for
perpetually stunting prefrontal lobes and breaking down American
Exceptionalism? In any event, every adolescent Droog soon laid every
wicked thing at whitey's feet. And so the old world mentality of co-dependent
serfs and fancy pants pretenders swamped America. Salad bowl people came and
demanded to be served, regardless of whether they worked. They demanded that we not have borders. That Christian values no longer be taught in schools.
That whitey be taxed to pay welfare to support Droog children. That the children of children be entertained to run rampant, without being profiled. And so a regime
grew out of the salad bowl. And the regime has learned to use simple bread crumbs to coax a permanent majority to take up residence in hamster cages with treadmills.
This is the socialist version of an earth friendly, perpetual motion machine.
The new spiritual purposefulness is to eat your bread crumbs and give thanks by
doing your time on the treadmill. Glenn Beck wrote a longer version in Agenda
21.

Now we see the worldwide empowerment of the Perpetual Adolescent, the
Nadsat Droog. We saw it in Sri Lanka, in the Somalian pirates, in the child
warriors of African warlords. We see it in the suicide-bombing captives of
Islam, whose minds are never allowed to grow up (lest they be stoned as
apostates). And now we see it at home, in the welfare and drug addicts of the West. Woe to any whitey who upsets any perpetual adolescent Droog or the Head Droog, the Apex Alex of Droogs.

My EPS (evil positioning system) indicates the Obama Presidency is securely positioned along a well triangulated course at the junction of Soft Christianity, Despotic Islam, and Corrupt Historical Necessity (Marxism). That Christianity has become soft is evident in how much it dithers with evil. That Islam is inherently despotic and despises the tolerant and Good Samaritan is evident to every thinking Good Samaritan. That Marxism is inherently corrupt is empirically demonstrated.
.
The West needs to stop trying to nation-build in lands that lack a Good Samaritan tradition (such as Arab lands). We need to let Israel be Israel. Let the Arabs and Israelis have their own "conversation" in the language they understand. Stop presuming to understand that language, which is the language of the locals. When the Arabs sponsor terrorism, kill the perps and then return home. Discourage, don't encourage, business with Muslims. Stop schooling Muslims in our schools. Stop importing Muslims, and stop pretending Islam is a religion. It's a blood oath among people who fear thinking beyond areas of permission lest they be stoned for apostasy. It's not a faith when you profess belief not because of inherent sense but because not believing will cost your life. Islam cannot reform itself without first killing itself. Let it do that. Something about Islam permanently twists its children at an early age. Giving Muslims help, welfare, and training only makes them stronger and leads them to despise you all the more.
.
The Good Samaritan model only works on people who have capacity to see spiritual goodness in others. It does not work on people and cultures who despise all others as inferiors and infidels. Stop feeding and dithering with evil. East is East and West is West. Why can't we follow that regimen? Well, our leadership is corrupted with payoffs from Islamists (as they knew our leadership would be). Why can't we put our corrupt leadership in prison? Because our schools, banks, media, "consensus science," international corporations, and mega churches are part of the corruption.
.
The cancer we have cannot be treated by medical or political science or law, simply by cutting off a limb here or there. We need strong moral medicine of a kind that can only be found in the wisdom of the new and old testaments. Or by a Genghis Khan who respects freedom to worship the host of hosts, the Eternal Blue Sky. (Tamerlane was an Islamic corruption of the Khans.) However, that medicine is challenged at every turn by a snake-headed Medussa of corrupted institutions. There will be no corrective without inducement of great gnashing of teeth. Alas, Babylon.

With religion, god can be conceptualized as caring (Christian), indifferent unless appeased (pagan), or demonically celebratory of punishing inferiors (Islamic). The ethos and religion a society adopts guides whether that society will be humane, robotic, or anti-human. In a salad bowl of soft Christians, materialistically minded robots, and blood lusting Islamists, the only certainty is much destruction. Alas, Babylon.

Islam is a self esteem pill for turning bums who hear noises in their heads into muggers. The hereafter reward for the muggers is lots of sex. For their victims, there is continued hellfire. Islam puts evil on stilts. In the Bible, there is poetry, philosophy, and history -- albeit warts and all. In the Koran, there is noise on stilts. Sort of like rap "music" for droogs and head bangers, with climactic finales. Once every decent thing is destroyed, there is "pieces."

People are what they are, and what they (including you) are is not inherently "nice." People don't need a book to motivate them to do evil. The Bible is a warts and all description of the unfolding of civilization. Good people will see and be inspired by the good things in life and in the Bible. Lost people will delude themselves that everything would be "nice" if only that darn book were not there. Not buying it. Life is a symphony, not a preset program. Gigo applies to people who want to be robots, not to people who want opportunity to pursue decent happiness. The problem of what to do about people who want to be bots will be with us always.

I wonder how long it will be before Muslims take over and pimp the business of street bumming. Bums tend to be docile. But some areas of frequent stops and queues invite intimidation. Window brushes can double as paint scrapers or clubs. With enough numbers, intimidation becomes easy. Once bums smell fear, begging gives way to mugging. Working the streets falls to the groups who are more intimidating. Muslims would be too proud to condescend to doing the actual street work. But I suspect they would not be too proud to pimp it, as a kind of tax to fund jihad, spread "charity" to the street "workers," and weaken the infidels who drive to work.
.
As Islamists organize a community, they will pay and threaten cops and politicians to look the other way, all the while despising the society that tolerates them. In similar fashion, Islamists will insinuate themselves into every human activity. As a meme, Islam has the viral potentiality to be a vehicle for delivering every affliction of evil. Until this anti-human meme is fully understood and recognized for what it is, established institutions of the West will develop very little that is suited to checking it. By then, much will be beyond salvage.

They know not how little they know of the myth of the invisible hand. A moving, invisible digit traces out a pattern, While inertia of the pattern remains, the digit applies an inherent capacity to fashion a doorkey that allows it to transition to a relationally connected but different pattern. Thus, the pattern in which The Digit is not contemporaneously functioning remains affected by the digit's functioning within the pattern in which it does abide. This process is repeated in perhaps an infinite variety of fractal iterations. Some quality of reconciling and apprehensive appreciation feeds back to guide the digit's artistically unfolding expressiveness of its existentiality. Every inertially established pattern remains affected by patterns in which operations are contemporaneously unfolding. Thus, the reconciling functionality of the digit is contemporaneously operatonal and present in all forms, even in such forms as it may seem to have established and departed. The span of time (the perpetual present) abides in the moving and reconciling of the Immeasurable Quality Of Apprehensive Consciousness that guides the unfolding expressiveness of the digit. Each mortal perspective of consciousness abides as an imperfect expresson of the one Reconciler. Each mortal expression fluxes among apprehensions of fuzzy expressions of unfolding forms of limiting patterns. The Reconciler moves without friction between unfolding patterns. Mortals, whose avatars are defined by forms of bodies, can move between such forms only at the cost of fashioning forms out of such forms. Mortal applications of doorkeys entail friction costs, while the Reconciler's application of its inherent doorkey does not. The Reconciler effortlessly moves among bubbles of experience that mortals can apprehend only with effort. That effort entails our experience and communication of an existentially conserved and quantifiable experience of a web of space-time-matter-energy. That web is the artifact of the artistically caring expressiveness of a moving invisible digit that is guided by a quality of omni-reconciling, conscious appreciation of feedback from its unfolding expressiveness.

It's such a cruel laugh that Islam allows no iconic representations of Mohmadman, yet preys on the masses by putting up giant posters of the likes of such as Khomeni and Saddam. Long ago, the false icon people also moved their game to America and Hollywood. Who rules? The fitters of composite images. Apple of my eye. Posters are airbrushed and chosen by fitters of images. They learn what appeals to the masses, then fashion poster composites to direct such appeals to their advantage. The psychology of mass appeal and advertising. The only thing fit to counter that would be education by parents whose first priority was to their children, not themselves. However, education has been taken over by the state, which has been taken over by masters of composite fitting, i.e., false iconography (con artistry). Practitioners of corrupt religion, commie brainwashing, crony capitalism, and non-stop sex have united to turn human freedom and free enterprise into omni-duplicitous, mass persuasion of the thought-challenged. The Composite Mind Griffin has indeed been loosed upon us. The ultimate insult is that the mass-persuaded have also been persuaded to believe they are the "brights."

By igniting the hatred that Prog allies have long nurtured against white, American male traditionalists --- who have been obliviously engrossed in work, paying bills and taxes, and trying to raise families against an onslaught of mollycoddled fairies whose brains have been wired only to imagine that the people who put the roofs over their heads are agents of the wicked witch. Of the Evolution of Islam and Evil: When evil overtakes a niche, when there is an "imbalance in the force," then that which is good becomes "unfit" in a quantitative sense, but not in a qualitative sense. Human freedom, dignity, and decency will measurably wither as totalitarian mind-control freaks, philosophers, and regimes rise.

Consider the Measurable Evolution of Complexity and the Unfolding of Disorganization and Entropy: Is not death digitally measurable, like an on--off switch? You're alive or you're not. Being alive is not a matter of being "fittest," but simply of being fit. Evolution need not be looked at as entailing the survivial or replication of the "fittest." It can be looked at as simply entailing the conservational, successive elimination by the contextual holism (environmental niche?) of all those who then and there are adjudged to be not fit. Whatever is at any locus that is contemporaneously determined or adjudged to be unfit is eliminated. Whatever is not apprehended to be unfit is indulged to continue from its perspective to pursue its way. Thus, there is an ongoing process of digital feedback between the conserving holism and each individual perspective of apprehension. Individuals experience a limited perspective of consciousness, by which they experience a digitally unfolding range of freedom (contemporaneously participatory co-determination). The encompassing field, on the other hand, experiences a holistic and reconciling perspective. We measure the digital interaction as if it were an interaction among wave-fields and particle-accelerations. However, behind that which is measurable, there is a qualitative exchange of apprehensions of consciousness. I don't "know" which is superior or inferior. I would speculate that the qualitative is superior to, and gives expression to, the quantitative. The qualitative experience of the measurably quantitative seems to be a complexity that unfolds an entropy, like an invisible hand operating within a measurable glove.

Americans have allowed too much power to be agglomerated by mind control freaks who want to play God or pretend they have been appointed agents of God, with authority to eliminate and kill all dissenters. They want to replace the invisible hand of God with an iron fist in a velvet glove. If a balance is to be restored that can avail pursuits of goodness, then we must learn how not to tolerate that which yearns to destroy all toleration of human freedom and decency. We must not tolerate being overrun by that which seeks to artificially insult the unfolding interrelationship between human beings and the real God.

Too often, people are confused with bad programming. Every mortal is imperfect and thus subject to hypocrisy. That a person exercises poor judgment in how he follows a program is not necessarily a good reason to indict the program as a method for processing dumb data. Programs are not people. They do not exercise judgment and they can be written with fewer inconsistencies. There are programs that are fundamentally defective. A program that is written and presumed to be a perfect substitute for God, or a sort of instruction book for putting God on autopilot, rather than a guide for how to try to be godly, is fundamentally defective for its purpose. People who are conditioned to blindly follow an all intrusive program as if it were a substitute for God are not thereby made godly. Rather, they are made to suffer from god-bot syndrome (gbs). The first thing to do with a program that purports to be a spiritual guide is to ask: Is this a program for guiding me or for turning me into a bot? If it leads you to strap on a suicide vest or to victimize people you know not at all, it's probably a program for turning you into a bot. We can judge such programs. Do they purport to be scientifically perfect programs for prescribing every moral action in detail? If so, they are defective at the outset, because no mortal can comprehend or show how to derive moral oughts from scientific laws. Do they ask you to try on a context for size, to experience how you feel about the context and to try to empathize with others? If so such programs are more like moral guides. The fundamental problem with Islam as a "perfect program" is that its proponents are comfortable with spreading the program by brute political force (trickery and treachery), more so than by moral persuasion. As such, Islam is more a political screed for bots than a religion for moral beings. When behavior is dictated, there is no opportunity to be moral. When production is taken, there is no opportunity to be charitable. When thinking is punishable as apostasy, by death, there is no choice of belief or religion. Rather, there is collectivized bot-ism. For Progs to think that being a collectivized bot is as good as being a human is soon to advocate the dissolution of human freedom and dignity in acid baths (as if it were "progress" towards 72 virgins). Such a prescription towards "god" prescribes no god at all, but only a mask for a severely deformed and extra horny zealot.

Celebrations of salad bowl diversity are inherently biased towards producing people who are prejudiced against everyone who shows competence to think for himself. Modern society enviously licenses rampant prejudice-mongering by every group --- except the one group that has led modern science: independently competent, white, protestant men. Because of envy, the cannibalization of the one competent group is celebrated, while the defense of that group is reviled. This treatment for what ails modern society is similar to the kind of bleeding treatment that killed George Washington. If we survive, I hope we will have learned from the experience.

Regarding the herd: On balance, a natural union between hog Corporatists who want cheap labor and fleecing Progs who want sheep manure is perilously close to hog tying the liberty of the masses. What natural base can be organized to resist this tying and fleecing, when every sane exercise of judgment can be buffaloed by yelling "racist?" Sociopathic Rinos and Dinos have united in order to train and "educate" most Americans to prefer to be herded over being branded as racists. Nowadays, to be an unhyphenated American is equated to being a racist. This equation is false and evil. I am "herd-phobic," not racist. Herd-phobics care little about race --- so long as their fellows are also herd-phobics. As far as I am concerned, La Raza, rabble rousers, community organizers, jihad monkeys, and un-American disloyal corporatists can go merge with a grand charlie foxtrot. Americans who do not want to be herded need to turn on and scatter all the Rinos and Dinos. Every American who does that is wearing a white hat, regardless of skin color.

The article is politically incorrect because it promotes an exercise of judgment. For the Left, any exercise of judgment is discriminatory. Therefore, every exercise of judgment is racist. People must not exercise judgment, nor should they be trusted with guns. This is because knowing when to use guns requires the exercise of judgment. For people not to be racists, both their guns and their judgment must be taken away. Because judgment must be taken away, it follows that: only the easily duped can be allowed to immigrate, only dead people can be allowed to vote, no one can be allowed to marry in any way that is meaningful, and only the government can be allowed to raise children. The Prog Foundation rests on its one assumption of truth: that no one should be trusted to exercise judgment. That it proves by assuming it. Now pull down your pants and pass the weed. Sarc off.

Regarding honesty as the best policy:
I wish I could agree with that. At one time, I would have. Those days are gone. The electorate is too corrupt and too dumbed down. People tend to follow habits of ways of thinking. At one time, Americans thought as independent people, who wanted a chance, not a handout. Those Americans have been replaced with people from cultures accustomed to corruption and handouts. The new electorate is convinced by cheap tricks and affirmative swindles, not by reason or offers of liberty. These bovines will be ruled. The question is, will they be pulled along by a large middle class of American thinkers, or will they be purchased and stampeded by a small, corrupt, controlling class of crony swindlers? To control a bovine, you study its patterns and habits. There is no such thing as offering reason or liberty to a bovine. A collectivist electorate is not suited to honest republican governance. Middle class thinking Americans of good faith must find ways to identify and make common cause with one another, while confounding the bovines and defeating the cronies. That is the challenge we are dealt. I don't believe wishful thinking in itself will change it. If our immigration policy is not redirected, government of, by, and for the people is toast. The bovines will insist, affirmatively, on being farmed. The question is: Will real Americans allow swindlers to use the bovines to defeat liberty for everyone and replace it with a hierarchy of mind slaves? Many bovines can hardly wait to take us back to the plantation. You can talk to them until the cows come home, but the home they will always come back to will be the plantation. I don't consider this a matter of profiling. I consider it a matter of recognizing how people tend to become chained to familiar, hierarchical based patterns. The people who run the Dims and all the institutions that tell Dims what to think know this, and they also know they have a tremendous advantage. Their advantage is not in the small number of cronies, but in their positions in institutions for pulling the strings of most patterns of significance. Nearly the only thing thinking Americans have abides in their good faith in an inviting Reconciler of human freedom and dignity. In God's good time, I believe that will be enough. If the goal is human freedom and dignity, the first thing one must recognize is that not everyone is presently equipped to make the passage. Indeed, many seek to bar the passage.

Re: "Are there fixed truths by which human virtue and events can be defined, judged and fully understood in a way relevant to all human beings ...."

Whether your question is trivial or not depends on what you mean by "fixed." Is God "fixed?" As to trivial questions, they are neither philosophical problems nor questions, since their "answers" are true by definition. Examples are found in math: 2 plus 2 is 4. But the most important questions are the non-trivial ones. What do you, in cooperation and competition within a society, wish to achieve and become? That is an unfolding process. If God is involved with us, that process of unfolding discovery would seem also to apply for God. The answer does not seem to be a presently set, objective answer. Rather, the answer is one that will unfold with a process of feedback. We do not communicate with other sentient, purposeful, human beings as if they were bots. In a society based on competitive individual enterprise, you do not tell the car dealer up front the most you are willing to pay. Often, even during an auction, while you are learning and weighing pros and cons, you do not even know for yourself the "objective answer" regarding the most you are willing to pay. Rather, much of qualitative evaluation is based on exchanges of "performance art": each participant uses "face" to try to convey or hide how and what he really wants and how much he really wants it. Reagan may have thought ill of many Republicans, but saying it out loud was a different thing. Out and out lying is one thing. Political bartering is another. If we "dis-elected" and disrespected politicians merely because they declined to tell us the whole truth of what they meant, we would never have a president.

There abides a qualitative truth, i.e., the Source of Truth. Objective transfers and transformations of measurable matter can be true by definition. As to qualitative, non-trivial concerns in political bartering over such materials, there abides humble receptivity to the Source. For such concerns, there is no objective, non-qualitative, purely quantitative answer.

Qualitatively, we have to decide whether we want a society based on individual freedom and dignity. If we do, we need to resist those who want a society based on appeasement by the collective of the desires of entitlement-minded infants. Nowadays, the most important political issue of honesty relates to what one tells oneself and others with regard to whether one wants a society based more on freedom of Individual enterprise and expression than one based on the Collective substituting for mommie and God. The most important question for America is: Who (or what combination) should govern our politics? A few godless cronies, a collective of infants voting as infants, or an intelligent middle class of free thinkers that respects an inviting, reconciling Source? How you answer that question will color most of what you take to amount to political truths. If you believe America should be run by a few godless cronies in deceitful combination with a collective of mental infants, then you will easily be led to believe Obama is a good guy whose policies are being unfairly characterized by "Whitey." If you do not believe that way, then those scales will fall from your eyes.

Every observing mortal perspective of consciousness is leveraged by machined synapses, nerves, brains that operat in respect of appreciations of field sponsored stimuli. Apprehensions of stimuli cycle the charge and energy exchange and feedback. In itself, the quality of conscious appreciation does no work. Civilization of perspectives of consciousness seems to seek a world in which pleasurable and diversionary sensations are "entitled" to be facilitated entirely by the work of machines that do not sweat, grow tired, or feel pain.

The work, sweat and sacrifice of Daddy seems less and less wanted or appreciated. Every observing mortal perspective of consciousness is leveraged by machined synapses, nerves, brains, and operating systems that function in respect of appreciations of field-sponsored stimuli. More and more people seem to want to become mere glands, entitled to be fed, doped, sheltered, cured, and entertained by some collective homeostasis of "caring machines." This serves a philosophy of a new singularity, in which Mind is conceptualized as mere interconnecting brain-gland, rather than anything of higher or spiritual purposefulness.

Survival, competition, pain, fear, and death: could evolution of a decent, appreciative, thinking, empathetic, concerned, trusting society for availing freedom and dignity evolve without such negatives, wholly motivated by positives, such as cooperation, pleasure, admiration, and awe? What sort of material organization could support the consciousness of such a society? Could a highly civilized society evolve without going through phases of the negatives? Could it program its citizens with artificial memories, so they could be conditioned to trust and appreciate one another without having "actually" undergone the materially correlative experiences? Could bit of consciousness float and choose among stores of recorded memories and identity transfers?

If matter is a derivative, an illusion, then must not the lives and deaths of material bodies be illusions? Are they like prerecorded memories of potentials and possibilities, for the associative entertainment of qualitatively fluxing perspectives of consciousness? Is the value we place on other bodies spiritually empathetic of the value we place on the experiences of other perspectives of the same consciousness in which we have a same qualitative interest?
