REVOLVING DOOR

REVOLVING DOOR:

Bribes ....

Revolving Door for S.P.C. (aka, Screwing-Proletariat-Club, aka, Spoils Presented by Congress):

QUESTION: Institutionally, what can be done to better game our political system in order to lessen the need for good people, in order to succeed, to count upon corruption and cloaked conflicts? What should be done to offset the influence of power brokers, monopolized media, and corrupt monies upon workers and government?

CONCERN: Whether by business or government, through a door to the left or to the right, competing power brokers revolve through ways to game and screw workers, consumers, and proletariat. See: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/12/opinion/12fri1.html?_r=1&th&emc=th&oref=slogin.

Perspectives of Will tend to venture and compete at or across those niches and levels where they intuit or feel that they are reasonably safe and potent. To the extent ordinary Americans come of nature or culture not to see fit to want to preserve the American way of life, then why should those who compete at highest levels of wealth and power see fit to spend time or energy trying to preserve for us that for which we ourselves are unwilling to work, fight, or make necessary sacrifices? Of American style freedom and dignity: We must use them, or they will be ratcheted beyond our reach, up to levels that will use them --- not necessarily to our best interests.

http://moneynews.newsmax.com/headlines/forbes_economy_crisis/2008/09/29/135732.html?s=al&promo_code=6BE0-1:

“The government had a big role in this,” Forbes said. “Yes, there was bad behavior on Wall Street. But by golly it couldn’t have reached the disastrous proportion it has without the crazy policies of Washington, the Federal Reserve, Congress, and I must say the White House.”

COMMENT: B.S.!!! Who believes Congress does anything to conflict with what its topmost tiers of Big Swinging D***’s and business and money puppeteers requires! The puppeteers actively promoted all this volatility and divisiveness, greased it, took advantage of it, and now complains that the government it greases gave it what it asked for! Chutzpah!
