Country Class

The “Country Class” is beginning to see clearly the termites that are rotting America from within. However, these termites are funded with obscene amounts of money, and they have their proboscises deep into every significant institution of control. It will take strong medicine to evict them. Without strong medicine, elitist termites will utterly and mercilessly destroy human freedom and dignity. We see the problem, and we are beginning to see the medicine and the regimen that are required to solve it. Whether we will take needed action in time is the issue.

Elite collectivist oligarchs are troubled by members of the independent Country Class because they prefer to take “show me” to heart and think for themselves. However, this won’t get you the fast track in politics or the soft sciences. Better to sniff out what the hierarchy wants and then work backwards, using inapt metaphors (constitutional curved space?) in order to help rationalize the direction being insisted upon by the prevailing herders. If you must think for yourself, put on a cool front, lay behind the log, gather your accomplices, and then assert control at the time opportune. Social elites care about one “science” only: the science of appearing to please the power structure while acquiring means for preempting control over the herd. As to real science, well, the general herd can be conditioned to believe anything. Yippie ki yi.

At some level of consciousness, not yet raised to immediate appreciation, members of the Country Class know in their hearts that social elites: know little of real science, are helpless in thinking for themselves except possibly to solve trite puzzles, coordinate their wolf pack guffaws purely to preserve control, and contribute little or nothing to human freedom and dignity.

American Independents are better men and women. However, they will not unite to put down elite mobsters except in respect of a higher cause that is true. The first thing to do is to raise and rally direct consciousness that there is a Source of higher cause, which does identify with freedom and dignity. However, that is precisely why the prevailing wolf pack, at every opportunity, slants the resources of the State to put down communication of ideas that there is a Source that is superior to worship of the state, as run by ridiculous elites.

Obama's empathy is not for people, but for his ideal: collectivization. But one should mention that the nemesis to freedom and America is not just Obama. It includes elite oligarchists who are fronting Obama. And they will be around, even after Obama fades. They will remain patiently opportunistic. To preserve and advance gains, there is little they will not be willing to do. Once they control the media, dissenters will go underground. But so will hirelings of the elite collectivizers who are fronting Obama. And, if necessary, they will move on, beyond polite inducements. If history tips, all will compete in the new order. In that order, that which floats to the top among ruthless collectivizers will NOT be that which is most compatible with good faith, good will, or good cheer. IOW, it will not be cream.
Resist like your life, your children, your country, and your ideals depend upon it. Because they do.

I well remember when Obama opened his website. All the moo cows where I work gathered around in praise, all thinking Obama was going to deliver everyone to this wonderful feed-collective. Only after all the cows are in will many of them realize that the commie-boy elites are not part of the collective, but of the collectivizers. Once you're collected as a cow, you are owned, and every bit of hide, hoof, carcass and meat will be valued only insofar as it helps sustain the greater good, i.e., the feed lot. And if you're one of those "empathetic commie-boys" who likes to sing sweet nothings and "git along little doggies" to soothe the lower beasts, well, you'd best be quick about it. Cuz you've got competitors among the con artists.

America will soon become Paradise Lost, if Americans continue to be lulled to think like cows and accept being "educated" like cows. Communist progressives consist of two classes: the collectivized and the collectivizers. Upper class elites in America have long been collectivizing communists. Meanwhile, middle-class, small-business Republicans have been clueless to the danger, thinking it came only from unionized workers. All along, there has been a corrupt bargain between the collectivized and the collectivizers to destroy the middle class. Liberal spreaders of collectivization seek nothing less than to smash conservators of liberty. We are up to our necks now. Have we yet figured out who is burying us? Hint: The mega wealthy are not conservators of liberty for the little guys.

Social justice: Being dumb and lazy need not keep you from being noticed and recruited for the fast track, so long as you have an outsized sense of entitlement and communicate in the right code to the right people a firm understanding of why everyone who works hard must be made to pay. For every abusing parasite, there is a host who likes being abused. The social justice is that they're made for one another. It's too bad they make a mess for everyone else.

See http://spectator.org/archives/2010/07/16/americas-ruling-class-and-the/: What an amazing, barn burning article! I found at least 22 amazing sentences, including this one: “What really distinguishes these privileged people demographically is that, whether in government power directly or as officers in companies, their careers and fortunes depend on government.” I would add, for those at the top, that their careers and fortunes depend on government imposing roiling, uncertain, changing favors and regulations that are good for leveraging advantage and control at the top, but bad for the country and the middle class.

“…it is a "machine," that is, based on providing tangible rewards to its members. Such parties often provide rank-and-file activists with modest livelihoods and enhance mightily the upper levels' wealth.”

“By taxing and parceling out more than a third of what Americans produce, through regulations that reach deep into American life, our ruling class is making itself the arbiter of wealth and poverty.”

“Thus if you are not among the favored guests at the table where officials make detailed lists of who is to receive what at whose expense, you are on the menu.”

“…products of Democratic and Republican administrations and Congresses empower countless boards and commissions arbitrarily to protect some persons and companies, while ruining others.”

“Nowadays, the members of our ruling class admit that they do not read the laws. They don't have to. Because modern laws are primarily grants of discretion, all anybody has to know about them is whom they empower.”

“When the bubble burst, only those connected with the ruling class at the bottom and at the top were bailed out.”

“Today's legal -- administrative texts are incomprehensibly detailed and freighted with provisions crafted exquisitely to affect equal individuals unequally. The bureaucrats do not enforce the rules themselves so much as whatever "agency policy" they choose to draw from them in any given case.”

“The ruling class is keener to reform the American people's family and spiritual lives than their economic and civic ones.”

“Thus the family prevents its members from playing their proper roles in social reform. Worst of all, it reproduces itself.”

“Since marriage is the family's fertile seed, government at all levels, along with "mainstream" academics and media, have waged war on it. They legislate, regulate, and exhort in support not of "the family" -- meaning married parents raising children -- but rather of "families," meaning mostly households based on something other than marriage.”

“Not surprisingly, rates of marriage in America have decreased as out-of-wedlock births have increased. The biggest demographic consequence has been that about one in five of all households are women alone or with children, in which case they have about a four in 10 chance of living in poverty. Since unmarried mothers often are or expect to be clients of government services, it is not surprising that they are among the Democratic Party's most faithful voters.”

“Because our ruling class deems unsophisticated the American people's perennial preference for decisive military action or none, its default solution to international threats has been to commit blood and treasure to long-term, twilight efforts to reform the world's Vietnams, Somalias, Iraqs, and Afghanistans, believing that changing hearts and minds is the prerequisite of peace and that it knows how to change them.”

“In sum, our ruling class does not like the rest of America.”

“While the country class, like the ruling class, includes the professionally accomplished and the mediocre, geniuses and dolts, it is different because of its non-orientation to government and its members' yearning to rule themselves rather than be ruled by others.”

“In general, the country class includes all those in stations high and low who are aghast at how relatively little honest work yields, by comparison with what just a little connection with the right bureaucracy can get you.”

“The country class is convinced that big business, big government, and big finance are linked as never before and that ordinary people are more unequal than ever.”

“In our time the interpenetration of government and business -- the network of subsidies, preferences, and regulations -- is so thick and deep, the people "at the table" receive and recycle into politics so much money, that independent businesspeople cannot hope to undo any given regulation or grant of privilege.”

“Let members of the country class object to anything the ruling class says or does, and likely as not their objection will be characterized as "religious," that is to say irrational, that is to say not to be considered on a par with the "science" of which the ruling class is the sole legitimate interpreter.”

“The ruling class's appetite for deference, power, and perks grows. The country class disrespects its rulers, wants to curtail their power and reduce their perks. The ruling class wears on its sleeve the view that the rest of Americans are racist, greedy, and above all stupid. The country class is ever more convinced that our rulers are corrupt, malevolent, and inept. The rulers want the ruled to shut up and obey. The ruled want self-governance. The clash between the two is about which side's vision of itself and of the other is right and which is wrong. Because each side -- especially the ruling class -- embodies its views on the issues, concessions by one side to another on any issue tend to discredit that side's view of itself. One side or the other will prevail. The clash is as sure and momentous as its outcome is unpredictable.”

“…a serious party would have to attack the ruling class's fundamental claims to its superior intellect and morality in ways that dispirit the target and hearten one's own.”

“Reducing the taxes that most Americans resent requires eliminating the network of subsidies to millions of other Americans that these taxes finance, and eliminating the jobs of government employees who administer them. Eliminating that network is practical, if at all, if done simultaneously, both because subsidies are morally wrong and economically counterproductive, and because the country cannot afford the practice in general.”

Impeding energy independence, disrespecting allies, enriching and bowing to enemies, redistributing wealth to irresponsible jerks, undermining decency, clamping down military and technological development, hampering national defense with crazed rules of engagement, undermining the dollar, inciting racial divisions, nationalizing and socializing entire industries, refusing to defend the border, and on and on and on. This goes way beyond stupidity. This can only be the agenda of someone who absolutely hates America and likely mocks conservators of liberty for allowing the nation to have fallen so low as to have elected such a monster of anti-freedom collectivism. He still has incredible access to regulatory and military power and is aided and abetted by people who are geniuses in ways to eat America from within. This madman fool will do whatever he thinks he can get away with and that has a chance to succeed. For that, many among the Ivies will continue to call him the smartest President ever. Insofar as Obama is a malignant fool, what does that make his Ivy admirers? Impeach, recall, fire, and rout all these strutting anti-American bastards, none of whom have the least clue how little they know.
