Has Hubble made God small?

From A.T. -- Re: "We actually have a lot of proof through the new knowledge through astronomy that the Hubble Telescope has provided to realize that the universe sooooo much bigger than anyone in biblical time knew."

Sorry, but to take this as "evidence" that individual perspectives of consciousness are not meaningful or spiritually important simply does not compute ... at least, not without undertaking some serious, front-loading assumptions and manipulations. One may just as well assume that each of us experiences perspectives of a same essential consciousness. Each perspective could be repeated in innumerable permutations. The innumerability may be less a signifier of meaninglessness for the underlying, essential consciousness than a signifier of its access to the power of math. In relation to the mystery of consciousness and its power in math, the vastness that is signified in Hubble photos may be infinitesimally puny.

It can be humorous to watch secularists pretend to be so objective and "scientific" about political positions that have hardly anything at all to do with science or respect for mind freedom and almost everything to do with conditioning for bias, reinforced by affirmatively fast-tracking habits of blind faith -- like fiddler crabs too blind to see that they are not even-handed.
Robert Smith said, "... as our opinions are subliminally formed after dinner and a good rerun this summer...."
Well, media no longer depend on our heads being screwed to whatever's now showing on Plato's cave. Now, media have found ways to put the cave all around us, wherever we go, 24/7, to bombard us with continuous doses of subliminal conditioning. American and middle class free enterprise have been kidnapped by extra-national corporatists, but that is a message hardly ever seen among the subliminal messages being constantly swirled around us. As Americans, we are being subliminally led to the egress, so we can join a new order of planetary recyclers. With so much mind dope all around, Progressives are the first to learn to love being zombiefied by it.
How does one re-energize the off switch? How does one teach how to solve the "halting problem," to restore desire among people to control their own intelligence? How can Americans regain control over their destiny, so we are not merely to be run amuck for the cheap amusement of fiends now doped up on power?

Regarding liberal arts: When last did Conservatives and Progressives find it so necessary to be so illiberally at each other’s throats? Have God and Nature gone to war?
Western liberal education is now reduced to full time p.c. collectivist training and aversion therapy to all things conservative of traditional Americana. We have given our children to those who want to obliterate any land for the free and the brave.
Conservatives, introverts, and ascetics look to God to armor them with principles, hoping to adduce objective regulations adequate against moral contingencies. Progressives, extroverts, and materialist hedonists look to tastes and pleasures as relativistic principles, to substitute for other principles, expecting subjective feelings to suffice for regulating moral contingencies.
Each perspective -- objective versus subjective -- believes itself adequate as a model for most purposes. Yet, neither perspective is complete in itself, so both need to be moderated. We have merely to review the history of the previous century to see that the world is not primarily governed based on comprehensible reasoning.
So, in respect of both reason and pleasure, how may perspectives of objectivism and subjectivism be moderated? Well, I doubt there is a “correct” answer. Regardless, a kind of “intro-extro” feedback may yield objective guidance grounded in subjective feelings of empathy. Feedback tells most beings that have capacity to model and communicate their experiences that they have a fundamental need to communicate. Without prescribing for decently governable civilization, communication appropriate to one’s age is not very well facilitated.
To test generally for how best to moderate subjective tastes and objective principles, one may ask: How should reasonably free people regulate their civilization, so that it both survives and flourishes? Such a test takes as self evident truths: (1) that a representative, republican federation is best for governing morally intelligent and free peoples; (2) that no other mode is fit for governing decent and free minds; and (3) that collectivist subjugation of decent, free minds to any regime is evil.
In self evidence, the N.W.O. juggernaut, based on collectivist rule of zombies under corporatist regimes, is an evil front. It is served by Disney-divvying elites, i.e.: libertine facilitators of Addict-Land, fascist rulers of Socialist-Land, extra-national banking despots of Peasant-Land, and mind swindlers of Fanatic-Land. For human decency and freedom to be erased, America is the dire enemy that must be killed by: anarchic and anti-family Hedonists, collectivizing and border obliterating Obamanauts, hedge-cheating and currency manipulating Corporatists, and mind-enslaving Islamonauts.
Moderation in defending America against the gathering fronts of evil that now beset her is no virtue. Perhaps what we now need is illiberal or “extreme moderation.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WGjwNnq0Ic
